Quite right, you might as well just give up now and forfeit the rest of your games.

I wish your players would start feeling as negative as you...

We still have Halifax home and away, Grimsby and Gateshead home, Wrexham, Eastleigh, Kiddiminster away still to play. You have Rovers, FGR, Halifax and uh... Telford still to play. We have 7 matches that it wouldn't be inconceivable for us to get beaten in.

It certainly ain't over yet and you're both much hotter shit than us at present.

Gonna be a few twists and turns yet but can't help but see Barnet winning it comfortably. Macc v Bristol next month will be the killer.

That really isn't true.
And it doesn't matter how long Bristol Rovers have been unbeaten for if they continue to draw all of their away matches as well.

So far every time fans start tweeting that their team is coming to get us, then that team has had a bad patch. It's happened to Bristol Rovers and Grimsby x2.

After last night's game the Macc fans started so hopefully it'll happen again. It seems teams get tense or anxious once they feel they have us in sight.
I still feel that if we get to the end of the Eastiegh game with our noses in front then we have a chance, but until then I'm just hoping that we keep picking up points for the play offs.

Not really lucky one of defenders normally dozes off in injury time so oppo get a goal, usually a winner...

Late goal that should have been offside and an undeserved red card for Power seems pretty lucky to me

So another list twist in our fixtures - Braintree away has been rescheduled for 3rd March, so our next 3 games are all away. But that does then mean 6 of our final 10 are at home, but the 4 aways are Gateshead, Halifax, FGR & Torkee.

We need to still be in touch by end of (a relatively easy) March and see what happens in an April shootout.

Meh, still a long way to go. Was a big result yesterday but the title is still truly Barnet's to lose.

So our recent poor performances caught up with us yesterday and again have failed to cope with balls into the box. Sounded like Brodie gave young Alex Grant a bit of a hard time of it yesterday, will do him good in the long term though. Shame we've no game for 2 weeks now, it could look very different again by the time we go to Eastleigh and not the ideal place to go to start playing catch up again.

Halifax are looking ominous at the moment, anyone know their games in hand? I think a few of the top sides are due to play them as well still, we have to go there on Good Friday.

Thought Grant was alright myself, probably just needs to work on his concentration more as he can be quite slow to react.

If I was a gambling man I would put a big wedge on you winning it after yesterday, it felt like we had 10 men in that second half such was your dominance. It has been a very long time since I last walked away from Blundell Park that deflated after a game, think it was the realisation that we are so far away from where we need to be when only a couple of weeks ago, i really thought we had cracked it.
Good luck I hope you win it (because if we get you in the play offs I will be shitting myself for the whole 180 mins)!

I didn't go so just going off the SilkPlayer comms which just made it sound like he struggled with Brodie's backing in and general knobhead-ery.

Our games in hand are:

Eastleigh (H)
Gateshead (H)
Aldershot (A)
Barnet (H)

So I'm not sure we're quite as ominous as the league table suggests. We're still not really at our best and would much prefer to be in a position with points on the board than playing catch up with those fixtures!

At least them 3 are at home and can be points taken off Eastleigh and Gateshead. And hopefully take some off Barnet to help us out!

I'm seriously concerned about our away form. I understand a lot of you will dismiss this as me being my usual pessimistic self but we have too many difficult away games coming up which are very similar in standard to our latest three (Grimsby, Lincoln and Wrexham). Halifax, Eastleigh and Kidderminster (not to mention Alfreton on their pitch when they're fighting for survival) are very, very ominous given that we can't do anything for toffee away from the Hive at the moment.

This match against Grimsby is so important for us - anything but a win will really put the jitters up both the players and fans. At the very least we need to make the Hive as intimidating as possible (even then, we still have to welcome Grimsby, FGR, Halifax and Gateshead, among others). I only hope that we win Saturday and start to see Rovers stutter, even just a little bit.

You think you have tough away fixtures? Really?

Urban, I think most agree with you that we have tough fixtures and losing three away games on the bounce is obviously disappointing but, we are still 4 points clear with a vastly superior goal difference.

We have failed to score just twice this season, Wrexham home and away. If we keep that up, we've always got a chance in any game.

I can understand the nervousness, it's that stage of the season, and you could argue that Bristol Rovers are now looking very ominous but we still have it completely in our own hands and even Bristol Rovers fans would admit they'd probably rather be in our position than their own.

I didn't realise Rovers have 7 home games & only 5 away games left. The weekend gets better!
