We've started to announce a few now so thought i'd fire this up

We have two announced but the Derby one will happen too I believe

6th July - Matlock Town (A) - 3pm
20th July - Sheffield United (H) - 3pm
24th July - Derby County (H) - 7:45pm

Then two home friendlies on 30th July and 3rd August though opponents not yet announced.

Would imagine there'll be some sort of tour somewhere and fit another couple in during the gap between Leek and the home friendlies but nothing confirmed yet.

You're at Pickering Town on July 9th too.

That's just a "City XI". Will be youth teamers in the main. Same as when we play Eccleshill and BPA. Won't be anything like the first team.

Only 1 for us, away at Stafford Rangers on July 16th. Suspect it'll be mostly the same sort of opponents, a Championship club, maybe 1-2 from League One and the rest will be non-leaguers from the local area/Cheshire.

For what it's worth, we'll be playing Bishop's Cleeve and Bath City at some point but nothing's been confirmed yet.

Good to see us having a few friendlies this year, last season we had 2 games in one day IIRC against local non league sides, played Grimsby in Spain in a weird 4 quartered match and Doncaster Away was the only real proper 90 minute game we had... no wonder we rolled into Barnsley and got tanked 7-0! we'd barely had any minutes together as a squad.

Kent Police charge a ridiculous amount if that fixture ever gets played (a couple of Kent Senior Cup fixtures in 35 years), so it's really not worth the hassle.

They've said Stoke will be bringing there strongest team apparantly, which will make that game mildly interesting I suppose. Tamworth is abit different also, might make the trip for that one, see if we can put to rest the horrors of the fa cup game there in 2010.

Dunno, most Championship teams go abroad for their pre-season, so assumed it would be their youth team. But it does look like it will be their first team, for part of the game at least. As mentioned above, it does make the game a bit more interesting.

They played the percentages and only played 3 games.

A reminder of the rules:

1. Only 90 minute games consisting of two halves of 45 mins count. None of this 3 thirds of 30 mins, or 60 min kick arounds.
2. Games must be first team games. A squad of players with 1 first-teamer does not count. I suggest more than 6 first teamers in the 90 mins count.
3. The table is decided on points per game, then goal difference.
