Chesterfield, We're Fucking Shit and Conference North Bound!!
He will, I have faith that things will get sorted eventually. It HAS to happen.
Even if Showtime don't put up the cash, I'm sure one of the other Networks such as HBO for example, will give him the money he wants, to end the story how they originally intended to.
Can't say I'm not worried that this is it.Kaboom!
I do however expect to see a Lynch / Frost collaboration Twin Peaks in the near future.

I'm less optimistic. CBS (which owns Showtime) owns the rights to the series. One TV network (as producer) working with another (as broadcaster) does happen, but it's not just a case of Lynch/Frost packing up their tent and taking it somewhere else. Someone is going to have to blink.

I like the trailer, I like Superman and I like Batman, but I can't get behind this. Maybe it's because I'm not into the comics and don't understand how this works, but how is Batman any kind of match for Superman?

Is a decent movie and features Batman fighting Superman. He uses his gadgets to create a big old super powerful suit, basically. As a whole DC make some really good animated films.

Best DC animation was Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

I struggle to be sold on it (even though that trailer was AWESOME) purely because of Snyders involvement. Man of Steel was shit.

Then again, I like 300 and Watchmen... so there's a chance it could still be good.

I'll only be watching this for the involvement of some of the Justice League. I'll be switching off my feelings for the rest of the movie.

What was shit about it? I know people mention the destruction and the ending to the fight with Zod but what else?

Do you reckon that instead of hard and soft The Thing describes his penis state as stalagmite and stalactite?*

* that sounded much funnier in my head

The new Fantastic Four trailer, good or bad?

Not sure what to make of it, on the one hand really not a fan of the new cast, but on the other it has Tony Kebbell as Doctor Doom which is a double plus.
Not sure if Doom's actually the villain or not either

I'm still yet to be convinced by that 1FF reboot, but I'm not ruling it out. I think that Xmen First Class kind of flew under the radar and nobody was really hyped for it... and then it became what I consider to still be the best Xmen movie of the lot. Here's hoping 1FF can do the same and surprise us.

I really liked Man Of Steel

I just thought that it was a poorly told story. As a matter of fact, I don't actually mind all of the destruction or the whole deal with Zod at the end.

I guess I let the trailers for it convince me that it would be something else. To me, it made it look as if it was going to be the greatest Superman story ever told... a real look at what would happen if a being like that showed up on earth. The implications it would have... proof that we are not alone in the universe, how it would effect religion having a man who is seemingly a god in our midst. Yet it never really did that...

It kind of lost me from the onset, what with it's well overdone origin story/opening. It spent FAR too long on Krypton at the start. And then it just seemed badly layed out. It cut all over the place, chronilogically. It's like Snyder had all of this massive amount of backstory to tell, but rather than tell it in any order that made sense just threw it all at the screen in any old order to get it on there. After a while they finally got to the end of this backstory stuff and once Zod showed up it just turned into something that was better laid out... but it just turned into a mindless action fest. Though it did look and sound cool I guess. But by that point I didn't care why they were fighting, it'd already lost my interest and just wanted it to end.

If I'm honest, I actually prefered Superman Returns to Man of Steel, even though everybody shits on that movie.

Eh. I guess I just expected it to be one of the best superhero movies ever, but it just let me down. I'm still not ruling out BvsS but all the same, I'm not going into it expecting it to be fantastic this time.

I'm torn on the trailer. It looks exciting, but just so... silly. It doesn't seem in keeping with the universe they created for Jurrassic Park to me.

I think it's probably real. Who would be able to fake it to that quality and get it shown on a big screen just to record it for a fuzzy cam video?

I did kind of think that too but then I figured if they had got a functioning park/attraction, knowing the human race and how we've 'progressed' over the years, it's only natural that things need to get bigger and better to make more money etc. It's how I imagine Jurassic Park would have gone had it worked originally, it's human nature imo. Money talks and all that.

Good GOD I'm looking forward to that movie. Liking the looks of it. I'm repeating myself for like the 200th time here but: PLEASE DON'T SUCK.

Speaking of looking forward to movies, Avengers 2 is out thus fucking week. Considering a midnight screening...

Between Avengers, JW and Star Wars 7 alone I'm pretty sure I've never been more excited for a years movie releases.

I was thinking more along the lines of the genetically modified dinosaur that has learned to talk to other dinosaurs, and the park keeper who can command velociraptors.

Teh talking part I totally agree with but the commanding Raptors COULD be feasable if you think along the lines of humans raising wild animals from birth (If that's even how they've done it in the film), like tigers and bears and shit. Either way, it's been too long since we've had dinosaurs eating people on the big screen so I'm excited :D

Yeah, I don't see too much of a problem in the training raptors thing... it could happen. As Mase said, people train tigers and stuff... and raptors are supposed to pretty much be the second most intelligent thing that's ever lived on the planet after humans. In a recent interview, Pratt said that the relationship is based on "mutual respect" between the trainer and the raptors. If the raptors are truly as intelligent as we're supposed to believe... and they live in a scenario where they're being well fed on a regular basis so long as they get along with the trainer, I can't see why it couldn't work, theoretically. They wouldn't need to attack/kill the trainer for food as they'll know that they'll get fed anyway without even needing to hunt for it.

If I didn't know otherwise I'd think that was the trailer for a Godzilla movie, a remake of one of the Monster Island ones.

I actually thought it reminded me a bit of a Godzilla type film as well. Or predator (only, you know, BIGGER) or something. Just the idea of this one big monster being the focus and kicking their asses, with them having to go and hunt it down.

I get the feeling that we'll get some confrontation between the Mosasaurus and the Indominus Rex at some point as well. They seem to be the biggest two things being advertised.

Also, no matter what else happens with the film... I want to see a bog standard T-Rex be the thing that takes down the Indominus. Because FUCK that Spinosaurus killing a T-Rex in JP3. I hated that. The T-Rex is JP's icon, it's main beast. I'd love to see it reclaim its honour as the "king" of the JP dinosaurs.

It's like a wrestling scenario. They take a guy everybody loves (T-Rex, played by Bryan) and randomly bury them with this new guy that they're trying to push (Spinosaurus, played by Roman Reigns)... then they bring along this big bad new ass kicker (Indominus Rex, playing the role of Brock Lesnar) and have Bryan go over him to make up for the earlier mistake.

Love the end credits to Avengers: AoU if that's really it (which it probably is). They want to make a big deal that they have ...... and will use him in Civil War so best hint at his return now.
