That fucking film....I won't be watching it. I just hope that the Batman film that Affleck is directing will be better and less "look at me, look at me".

Saw the leaked trailer from comic con for suicide squad. Looks well produced even from the grainy audience captured footage

I thought the Suicide Squad, BvS and Deadpool trailers from comic con all looked excellent.

I may not be a huge fan of how the joker looks, but from the brief impression you get during the trailer Leto seems like he may have done very well.

they can't really fuck suicide squad up, the ensemble is too colourful.

glad they're following the 2005 arc and have decided to humanise deadshot, though with will smith in the role he was never going to be a simple psychopath.

its a very nice trailer.

I'm really looking forward to this one, I enjoyed Casino Royal (but think it is hyped more than it was), I didn't enjoy Quantum of Solace one of the poorest ones, but I loved skyfall.

I think Bond has certainly suited going down a darker route, they tried it back in the 90's with Dalton's bond but maybe people were not ready for it then but with other films going more darker like Batman its worked here.

and at least Waltz is playing the main bad guy in this film.....he may not be blofeld, but it would have been an enormous waste to not make him a villain.

and do I hear a re-make of the epic majesty's secret service theme tune as the theme for this..............superb.

Don't get the hype with Deadpool. Just seems...shit.

So hyped for the Deadpool film, potentially more than Civil War/Batman vs Superman

the movie event of the summer

Looks an absolute bag of shit tbh. Can't stand this sort of film.

Legend ought to clean up at the awards ceremonies, as should Hardy.

2 brilliant portrayals and a fantastic film. This coming from someone who doesn't particularly like Tom Hardy due to the incessant ramblings about him from my better half.

It won't happen though. Some of the reviews have been particularly harsh.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I veer away from saying I'm not a fan of Tom Hardy

He was excellent in Bronson,Warrior,Lawless and Mad Max,Peaky Blinders,The Drop and Inception. Just about everything I've seen him in he has stood out as a great actor.

Could be an enormous money making film that, but i do not envy the director that will be one hell of a tough film to please its fanbase.

I hope it does well enough to make sequels and tell more of the story, but the dialogue and the clichéd take on the lore doesn't fill me with confidence. They also said the CGI would be photo-realistic and up there with Avatar which doesn't seem the case. Should be a fun brains-off action movie at the very least though.

Lots of ropey looking composite shots (fixable) and the human costumes are laughable (not really fixable), but damn if those orcs aren't the most detailed cgi characters I've ever seen.

On the one hand it's good to finally see a video game movie being treated seriously. The cast and crew not winking at the audience every five minutes. On the other, a po-faced telling of such a god-damned ridiculous story would ruin it completely. It doesn't need to be serious to be taken seriously. If anything, it needs to be big and stupid and unrestrained in its silliness - exactly what the Warcraft games have always been. It just needs to not make fun of itself or where it came from.

Finding Dory trailer. Hmm, didn't really do a lot for me. The emotional hook of a dad trying to find his son and having the forgetful goof side character help out worked well for Finding Nemo. Just not sure the story has such a strong impact this time around. I know this is for little kids, but I've always felt that adults could enjoy them as well. Let's hope this doesn't turn out to be a bit "meh". I would hate for them to lessen the impact of Finding Nemo by saddling it with a poor sequel. Fingers crossed they pull this one off.
