Rumour doing the rounds is that he'll need a big operation at some point and the deal is off on the advice of our physio. Really disappointing.

Strange that any sort of medical would be taking place already though.

Knowing PNE we won't have a back up plan and we will piss about looking for a midfielder all summer, again.

It'd cost a lot more than £350,000 to prise away a now fit and newly contracted James Jones from us as well.

Woke up this morning with a banging headache and a realisation of having to go to places like Forest Green next season.

Yesterday’s performance was wholly unsurprising but doesn’t make it any easier to take. As mentioned above; no urgency or fight at all and that’s what’s taken us down over a 46 game season.

Well done to Rochdale. Our performance at your place was a disgrace and you should have beaten us that day.

Think we moved on from him, been stung too many times by players after they've had a bad injury. Couldn't see us forking out money on anyone who has had a long term injury in the past year.

Probably wouldn't have signed on a new deal if there was Championship interest in him, so i'd say that one is definitely dead.

Chin up, I'm sorry for all the fans, perhaps a year (no more ) in league 2, regroup and bounce back. Then you can look forward to fish and chips in good old Fleetwood ( providing Mr Barton does'nt get us promoted !!!! )

Callum Ainley just signed for us despite you apparently offering four times what he was on here recently tbf. He's not injury prone compared to Jones but I do reckon he'll be one you might sign in the next year or so if he kicks on and becomes more consistent. Jones I can see why he's dead in the water, wouldn't surprise me if he had another long term injury again soon, he doesn't have much luck in the slightest.

That was meant to be a joke about getting promoted, well not next season anyway ! Every likelihood we could be in the same situation next year, I have said it some many times, for Fleetwood to be competing in league 1 is a tremendous achievement, we have skirted with relegation twice in the last 3 years so that tells its own story

Yeah, after i sent this I saw that Robinson had backed away from the idea that the move was done.

First I've heard of any knee problem though. He played today. Be a massive shame for the guy if that was to stop him moving up.

Could be back on, specialist hired by Oxford says his knee is fine, he's going to be assessed again.

Bored of this, nothing is straight forward with us.
