Don't think there's a vacant job in L2 (Barnet probably the closest to wanting a manager).

I think it was us making the approach. Waddock helped Martin Allen when we won the National League in 14/15.

It would have been us, although personally I'd rather have Gary Waddock's dog in charge over the jebend we currently have.

Well, if we weren't going down before, we definitely are now. No one will get more out this shower of shit than Billy did. :bdick:

A case of damned if you do and damned if you don't. Got us promoted despite the odds but the football is like pulling teeth. Time for those that said they are boycotting because of him to get back on the terraces

Some of Billy's boys have played their last game for the club and will next appear in Unibond Premier. It was obvious to most fans that the majority of last season's squad would struggle in the National League and big changes were expected in the summer. Perhaps because Billy had no experience in the league he didn't seem to share the fans' concerns, but for whatever reason there were few changes. Mark Bower's name is being touted locally, but he wouldn't be on my list. What's Richard Money up to these days? :bdick:

What do we need him for when we've got Neil fucking Young. :ffs:

I hope his temporary reign of terror doesn't last long enough for him to loan your top goal scorer to a club in the division above and generously offer to pay his wages, just to sweeten the deal.

Oh, and install some revolving doors at The Shay in preparation for Young's patented Hungry Hungry Hippos approach to player recruitment.

Completely forgot about his fuck up at Stockport, lets hope our directors haven't. Officially he's only in charge till we get a proper manager in, but we will no doubt go for the cheapest option.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Halifax surely are not stupid enough to put Neil young in charge, even for a game. He signed about 90 players in 2 months for Alty last season creating a horrific team. Signed a defender when Curzon played them last year who made numerous f£ck ups due to not speaking a word of English before taking said player off at half time and never seeing him again.

He didn't fuck up at Stockport, the team is beyond redemption. The Messiah is doing great isn't he?

Us being beyond redemption might excuse his record with us. What excuses his record at Alty?

You're talking about the club that sacked Neil Aspin here pal.

Difficult to come from such a high with us to going elsewhere. For me he’s achieved good things, even before us, but just lost his way and now recognised it himself.

He did well with the promotion last season, but if i recall his head was on the chopping block during that season with a love hate relationship with the fans wanting him out (I wasn't sure whether he kept on playing hoof ball to Tom Denton when he was out of form, to the fan's disbelief? I could be wrong). I would imagine this has been on the cards for a while with Billy Heath? I think he's that kind of guy or manager where you either love him or hate him.

Still, I don't think they'll be too many broken hearts over the departure of Heath. Good luck to the guy he's done his best i suppose.

Some ran out of patience with him 5 games in. To be fair, the football was atrocious, by far the worst, as a "body of work", since Alan Ball got us out of Division 4. Heath is from the same school and is on record as saying "getting promotion has got nothing to do with playing football". He's probably correct in that, it's just that if you're not winning, people start to want to at least be entertained again. Performances since the New Year have reminded many of the Hell of the Darren Kelly affair. Still, his record speaks for itself and any club wanting to get out of Conference North must make it a priority to get him at the helm. :ds:

If he'd move further south i always thought Heath would be a perfect fit for B-Wood.

It would be nice to have confidence this **** is being amusingly ironic. However, having a good working knowledge of our fan base, I strongly suspect that is not the case, as irony requires a modicum of intelligence. :ffs:

He could get us relegated and we wouldn't sack him - and rightly so IMO. Our problems stem from our budget & having to constantly be investing in expanding the ground rather than it getting ploughed willy nilly into the first team. I said it in another thread on here a while back, without meaning to sound like I'm having a pop at the club we are still very Ryman League off the pitch in terms of the provision of footballing staff (no scouting/analysis/GK coaching etc etc).

Once we catch up off the field with our achievements on it then we'll start to look fit for purpose. Until then we'll struggle with the on pitch side of things.

Obviously now I've typed that he'll be getting sacked tomorrow! :ffs:
