Just don't do what we did when we couldn't afford a new manager back in 2015 having sacked Gary Simpson, which was appoint a Director who fancied having a crack at managing a professional Club, having only managed what was effectively a Sunday League side (now manager at Alfreton). Although he did work for free, so helped us out in that respect.

The only people that have something positive to say about him are those who don't attend Pools matches, fantastic young manager my arse, the bloke won't get another job in the English league again, his summer recruitment has turned out to be abysmal, Loach aside the rest are utter shite, his tactics were just non existent, there is no game plan, it's just 11 players in a blue and white shirt kicking the ball around and hoping something happens.

Once again Matthew Bates swerves another managerial bullet and takes charge of the Ebbsfleet game with Jenkins who I imagine only survived as we couldn't sell enough colouring in books on Ebay to get shot of him.

Not that I want him to leave, but I’d think Macc would be the right set up for Curzon manager Flanagan as a step up and he is probably the best manager below the conf north at present so would not be a horrendous choice.

Got a side up 2 leagues on 120-150 gates and keeps them competing in the ridiculously tough conf north with the smallest budget, constantly losing best players to rivals, no money man and a passing game approach.

Think he would not suit the big fish in pond club, but the smaller trying to over achieve club
