I was saying earlier that whatever the league table says there are at least two teams substantially weaker than the Latics kicking around...
Fans who have watched is this season say if we get a half decent striker we'll be fine.

Funny thing to say during a game we've scored five, granted!

Red Card… oddly an identical tackle on Gibbons five minutes before wasn’t even given as a foul!

May as well sign up a few fans with how many we are without now!

Crawley are actually so grim, they've deserved the win in terms of performance but I've never seen so much time wasting, diving and general shit housery.
Awful awful nothing tinpot wasted of a club.

Score five away from home, leading by three at one point and still don't win. Defence lost its shape after JMT went off at half time change by sounds of it, though Oldham had been there and thereabouts even first half. Ah well, wait another week to confirm safety.

Ah well shame couldn’t have seen it through but well done Newport. Certainly deserved winners.

Pleased with the effort of the Vale team today but were never really going just to keep them out the full 90 doing that.

Incredible effort but just a game too far in the end.

If we don’t get any forwards back in the next few games we are going to be on a long losing sequence. Having to sit back for 90 minutes week in week out is an impossible task.

Frustratingly we’ve not actually made Covolan have to do much but a wonder strike and slack defending cost us.

Can’t fault the effort though and no one can really slate them in the circumstances.

Well after winning 7 away games in a row we've now lost the last 2. It took 2 Barrow pens to do it and I've just seen our captain got sent off after the final whistle which is just brainless, given we have so many problems at Centre back. Hopefully he is properly disciplined

Well done Barrow, first goals in 5 games I believe.

Frustrating ref, 2 sets of rules being played at times but no complaints on the red or the result for me

Take a point considering our abhorrent away form but just not enough for us at this stage, we need to be winning games. Players are giving it there all but they're just not good enough unfortunately.

If you score 5 away you should really be winning but tbf Oldham looked a very good side.

We’re very reliant on a small group of players, one being Jordan Moore-Taylor. Without him we’re all over the place at the back. Wilson looks injured again which is a worry. Scoring goals not a problem though.

Looks as though Orient lost some discipline at the end. Four yellows in the last ten minutes, including 2 for Prately. Obviously 1-2 up Crawley would have been wasting time and such but that does look as though they lost it.

The 3 at the back Obviously worked for us. No shots on target for Orient ! That's impressive seeing the Os had such a good home record.

Happy face.

No always a big ask. It’s bonkers the situation but with no forwards there was just no one to take the pressure off.

Got to hope Woz and Rodney are back next week. Still in third and two home games to come.

Well we've finally scored, even if both were from the penalty spot, should've been more as well. Much needed win and hopefully we can push on now.

Our thanks go out to Ben Garner who's daft comments pre match gave us that added bit of motivation.

not quite identical. Dan Jones won the ball, their player didn't get near it. So fucking weird.

And your twitter account are trolling big style about it!! I'm sure the mouth breathers will be out on force getting wound up about it.

Hopefully it might teach Garner to think before he speaks in future.

Surprised if McKirdy doesn't get disciplined either. Subbed off but came tearing on after the final whistle jabbing his finger at the ref.

Dunno what they were so wound up about - both pens were obvious even from the other end of the pitch, and should've had a clear one in the first half too.

Best performance of the season for me, given that Swindon were a good side and tried to play football.

Unexpected but welcome 3pts in Devon for us today. Unlike Oldham on Tuesday, this time it sounded like it was deserved?

it was quite a good game today despite the weather. Swindon knocked it around well, but had very little up front. I'm not sure what the number 9 brings to the Swindon team - it sure as hell isn't pace....
The main difference between the 2 teams was Robbie Gotts our number 15 - he absolutely terrorised Swindon when he ran direct at their defence with pace. I said in the 1st half that they're scared of him (after he was brought down in the box, but the ref bottled it) and he made the difference 2nd half.
The red card after the final whistle was really stupid.
The Swindon fans in the ground were great;- noisy, passionate and travelled in numbers - but some of them threw their dummies out outside after the final whistle.

Really can't be bothered talking about that game other than to say I'm firmly in the Adams out camp. He's worse than Peter Taylor.

Oscar Threlkeld is quite possibly the worst footballer I've seen play for us and that's something.

Jon Brady is getting absolutely everything out of this side. 2 massive away wins this week. We are properly in this promotion hunt.

Yep, pretty sure your 3 at the back caught us off guard and partly why we lost, we had very little space to work with. Combined with the it being a game too far for our young squad too, we just didn't get going at all and put in a very, very laboured performance and we only scored from a lucky goal. Slightly frustrated we couldn't try and build on that Crawleys second came on the break, but we play a risky highline and we've conceded a few chances like that this season and today we was punished, but Crawley were worthy, worthy winners and the game should really have been over alot quicker.

The ref was a total prick for both teams, which contributed to the high yellow card count for both sides. By the end of the game both sides were trying to play their opponents off him with diving and gamesmenship.

The injuries and suspensions have hit home for us now, no Omar Beckles for us today, losing Tom James to a hamstring injury, Darren Pratley sent off when he was banned for next week anyway as he has 5 yellows and an injury to Hector Kyprianou as well. The 3 games in a week has finally caught up with us too.

The fact that Jackett kept a tiring pair of Drinan and Smith on and didn't bring on the two strikers we have on the bench shows he doesn't have faith in our squad depth.

Well we scored two goals, I guess that's something. Shoutout to the Sutton keeper for chucking the first one in. Must've had a Robinson goal on his coupon.

Funnily enough the red card helped us as we didn't have 5 defenders strung across the back, camping us in our own half anymore.

Patience seems to be wearing thin with Adams now. Chants directed at him at times and ironic cheers when he finally made a sub. Then he has the cheek to come on the radio and say we're on a good run. FYI we've won 2 in 23 and 0 in our last 10.
