Looking like an away sell out for us at Barra on Saturday, they've only given us a measly 662 and we've sold 520 so far, why such a crappy allocation?

Probably all you have asked for. Understand Oldham fans slagging us off for a) Allocating them all of the tickets they requested. b) their club holding them for a week before putting them on sale.

Doubtful on that part, we played them in the Dog n Duck league and took 1,200, so it's not on us, strange really, it's not like they need the space for home fans.

Surely if so many Hartlepool fans wanted tickets, they'd all have been sold by now???

Day off for Yems' gob on Saturday
Works out well for me because I couldn't be there on Saturday due to my shift work...I may not be able to go the rearranged game but I've got a chance.

I think a lot of people assumed it would be pay on the gate and didn’t anticipate a piddling allocation, I know I did that’s why I had a mild panic when there was only 140 odd still remaining.

Pay on the gate is so tinpot.

To my knowledge, that allocation has only been filled on two or three occasions in the past decade or so - and it's only a tiny ground compared to most in the division. I'm guessing the owners are waiting to see what sort of crowds we'll attract in this division before making the away section any bigger.

Nah, after the Hartlepool game, the next match where there'll be a decent away crowd isn't til October 30th (Rochdale), so plenty of time to make the adjustments. Realistically, there's only about four clubs in this division that would probably sell out that allocation unless they were in the hunt for the title, so might not be worth it.

Aye the Furness Megadrome needs a fair amount of work to bring it up to standard.

Another interesting game coming up, we have had a tough start with both Tranmere & FGR as our opening two fixtures, two teams you expect to see up there come the end of the season.

The obvious threat is Jamille Matt, itll be interesting to see how Taylor/Monthe deal with him. I also see Kane Wilson at the club, he was awful on loan at our place.

Hopefully we get this striker sorted in the week. If not, id like to see Phillips start up front, he seems more of an out and out striker than Wilkinson.

How many FGR fans are we to expect this weekend?

Im going to predict a score draw, 1-1.
As it is the first away game for 18 months their fans have been able to travel expect far more then their usual normal travelling support. They might actually fill their mini bus for this one. But tell your stewards to keep an eye on them. They like to smash up seats.

Surprised to see you say that about Kane Wilson because he was very good when we had him on loan. In fact we would have liked to have kept him but the bright city lights of Nailsworth and the thought of a vegan sausage roll wrapped in a wad of 20s and 50s turned his head.

Away end holds 4k mate, I’m not sure what the crack is with tickets etc..
We got a initial 2600 and they went on sale online last night and from the ticket office today. I got mine this morning at 9 and there was a queue before and after I left. Funny thing is they are actually physical tickets and you can`t download them and print them off at home which seems a bit strange in this day and age. So those who have ordered them online have to pick them up from Rovers or at the ground on Saturday. I can see there being a big queue at their ticket office. Is this the norm at Vale Park because we have been accepting paper printout tickets for 3 years?

Strange, for those who buy tickets online for the home end you can print them off and scan them and I believe now you can get a QR code on the phone to scan also.

Strange one, don’t away clubs usually get a small percentage if they sell the tickets themselves so may be linked to that I don’t know. We have scanners in the home ends.

Think it’s 5% for tickets sold to cover any costs, happy to be corrected on the percentage though.

Yes they will. Pundits will have a better idea of early form after 2 games than they would after 1 game. This is very basic stuff.
Of early form, why have you ignored the other half of the message? Is monkey boy trying to look clever? It didn't work.

No they won't. Check L2 table after 2 games last year and how it finished

Then feck off trolling and find a new hobby.

You've got to be the most moronic tosser on this site. And that's a stretch because even I'm on here.

Oh really. Little tory boy who pissed off out of the country to avoid a lockdown calls anybody a moronic tosser.
You are nothing but a piece of shit. A small piece of shit.
You come on here and criticise everybody for their lack of knowledge about how to express themselves but constantly make glaring mistakes.
I am not one for making requests but could i possubly make an exception in your case and ask that you energetically and violently go dry fuck yourself.

You don't like it when people point out how thick you are. Yes, the same goes for the other part - pundits will have a better idea where teams will finish in the league after 2 games than 1 game. How can you even think otherwise?

No one’s slagging Bradford off for the ticket mess. We’re well aware it’s our own club’s doing.

How can I think have 2 games people will have any sort of idea how the table will finish? Umm, because I'm not a fucking retard.

To be fair, there’s a few posts on your forum slagging us off, before they realised it was your own doing.

Heard you still had 700 tickets (1200 allocation) left before last nights game? I thought they would’ve been tapped up by now.

They were ST holders only yesterday. We don’t have too many of those these days and you could only buy 1 with a ST so could only buy for yourself. On general sale today so let’s see. Reckon we should still more or less sell the 1200 but doubt there will be much above that. Got my ticket this morning… looking forward to it!
