Uninspiring, turgid stuff for a 1-0 lead at HT. Our previous Swash has been well and truly Buckled.

Blimey, leading at home. Better of two poor sides, Col U seem to have the same repertoire of errors we've been prone to, got lucky for the goal as a fairly tame shot got spilled into onrushing Morton, but he was there for it. been some other decent approach work too, not too much coming the other way though our usual odd moment of madness.
One bizarre incident where Bernard was adjudged to have back-passed pretty unfairly having stopped the ball in a goalmouth scramble so we defended an indirect free kick from six yards out. Managed to charge it down.

We've got one back, we've been dirt and the weather is atrocious as well.

Maybe this is just us now and we have to produce miracle comebacks each game at home to get a result.

Can't score for shit, can't defend. Sooner we get across 50 points the better.
Snap, we are atrocious to watch at the minute, given the extra budget this season I really was expecting more.
What Hurst has achieved here I will always appreciate and for that he still has my backing but fuck me something needs to change asap with these turgid performances every week.
It’s such a tough watch.

crucial goal back by Lee. If we bother to turn up in the second half we should be winning this.

Yeah no other team has thought to press us this season…

no idea or not.

As i said before the game, your best chance of beating us would’ve been to play defensive and pack out the midfield, i said if you game play passing football against us theyd only be one winner. I’m surprised you were so expansive against us.

You quite literally played into our hands.

Seems to be a running theme, as the Alex v Tranmere is lacking in quality too.

Still, solid enough first half, got another goal from Demetriou, his 5th of the season. Dominated the first 20, but looked shaky in the last 15. Tranmere have had one decent chance which Davies did well to save. Going to need a 2nd to kill this one. No reason to throw this away though, got to see out the result.
Crewe could have been 3 or 4 up after the opening 20 minutes, but it’s been a closer game since with Rovers not allowing you so so much time and space.

Think for Rovers to have any chance need to move O’Connor or bring on Walker as the defensive midfield. I’d take off Jolley up front too.

1-0 to Doncaster at halftime. A moment of self sabotage is costing us so far. Silly foul from Craig Clay to give away a penalty.

Would help if we could get Wilson and Rose on the pitch together for more than 30 minutes. However, I do think we're in a weird place in terms of style. We're not a tidy possession based side, but we've stepped away from pressing as much as we did over the last few seasons but not totally. We're neither a counter attack side nor an attacking side. We've got four wide players but no striker that is truly comfortable in a three with two wide players. It's all just a bit lacking in identity.

Beautiful as soon as the going got tough, county and there ‘fans’ went missing
Yes that’s the big lesson to take away from today; leave early when you’re having your arse handed to you by your nearest rivals and it means you aren’t a proper ‘fan’.

McGee sent off handling outside the box. Didn’t need to make the second challenge as there were covering defenders on the line. Crewe then double their lead. Morris makes way for reserve keeper Murphy, odd decision by Adkins taking one of our better players off. Damage limitation for Rovers now.

1-0 City. Osadebe with two goals in two games now.

Wimbledons tactic of pulling shirts and throwing elbows not working thus far.

The irony there being that he could well have been sent off for coming out of his area last week so arguably shouldn't have been playing today.

Lovely stuff. I paused my iFollow so I'm about ten minutes behind!

maybe he’ll disappear again for 4 years

You've got say, this thread would be unbearable if Mansfield fans cared about Notts.

Really poor second half, as I said at half time Slocombe's distribution really had a big impact and losing Bostock doesn't help with our already poor set piece defending. Mansfield good value for the win and the scoreline, it's not really a L2 season until we fail to turn up against them.

Think the comments about recruitment here are fair, whilst I think Brindley has been mostly fine this season we are paper thin in CM (Bajrami injury hasn't helped but I'm not convinced he was going to make the step up) and the fact that the two lads on loan aren't making a case to play ahead of Rawlinson, who isn't good enough, says a l

Massive helping hand when Mingi committed another blatant card offence straight off and went off. great finish from McAllister for our second as Col U running out of legs.

The good thing about making a hash of a lunchtime kick off is other teams doing even shitter at 3 o clock.

Time to go Hurst. I’m not a rash person but with the players he has and the budget which he’s managed to waste, these performances are not acceptable. Sliding down the table.

We’ve been the better team even if the goals were soft. Ref as usual is clueless, blows the whistle for next to nothing and dishes cards out when he clearly didn’t see the challenge

We've had the chances to be well clear by now but so far nothing dropping for us. Feeling like one of those days...

It's about time we were relegated after the last three years.
