Wrexham play the exact same fixture every week

Always against a mid-table team, always fall a couple of goals behind and have a miraculous comeback.

I can’t see how Hurst escapes this month with his job, and if he does our owners have a lot to answer for

We have lost twice this season. Both times on international weekends and bit times missing al hamadi. Not saying we are one dimensional but we are one dimensional. If our home.form matched our away we would be pissing the league however patchy home form will.cost.us.

A very welcome three points especially after we were awful for most of the game.

We've done it again, they just know they can come back in these games. They do it deliberately now I think.

Salford were poor and it would have been a travesty if we didn't win, their keeper was great. Stephen Fletcher is a class above, what a sub he is to bring on.

Were we much better? We are average when al hamadi is away on international duty

One more and we'd have been out the bottom two and we did have a stonewaller waved away as the ref thought Col U had had enough is all I can think.

Time to go Hurst. I’m not a rash person but with the players he has and the budget which he’s managed to waste, these performances are not acceptable. Sliding down the table.
I still think he can turn it round and deserves more time. We've had a horrible start (now played 10 of the top half). But that was a shocker of a performance today. Accrington were even worse than us up until the sending off, which has just caused us to crumble. How has taken Andrews off for Holohan too when Clifton was a passenger? Crap choice of subs. Waited until he's forced into bringing Wilson on, who should have been on around the 65min mark alongside Rose for me. Also Abo Eisa needs to hang his head in shame, that was a right sitter he's almost put out the ground and we'll have to deal with some Bradford fans if they end up seeing that.

One thing that has barely been mentioned that we can definitely point the finger at Hurst for is letting Crocombe walk away from the club and replacing him with Eastwood. That looks like an absolutely mental decision now.

Oh we all know that we'll win at Stockport and Hurst will be out saviour again. Even the Stockport fans know we're beating them next weekend.

Getting a mauling here. The Notts fans might stop touching themselves over the magic roundabout guardiola for a few weeks at least.
It's not the coach, we've a paper thin squad that's got nothing more to give. They're doing their best but we're short overall to maintain a promotion push.

You always do this under Hurst. Don't forget who you've got next week, and you'll probably go on another 15-game unbeaten run

Poor goal to concede at the end
I shouted ‘next goal wins’ as the ball was being played into the box, so I’m sorry to inform you that technically we won the match.

Being honest, each goal in the 2nd half was a poor goal to concede.

Well, we aren't boring.

Deserved that. Both teams diabolical in the 1st half and there was only one team in it in the 2nd. Fletcher on a free is looking like a hell of a signing, who needs Luke Armstrong?

2-0 is such a weird result for us (Crewe) today. In a way it was completely one-sided, straightforward and absolutely a walk in the park against a horrendous Tranmere side that should have ended 6-0, and in another way it could have ended 2-2 as they hit the bar twice. We absolutely deserved to win, but still might not have done.

But yeah, Tranmere were completely atrocious in every single way. The can take solace in the fact that they weren't as bad as Gillingham were, but it was a close one.

I really worried about October, but so far I'm very happy with our return from some tricky matches. Get something at Valley Parade and against Sutton at home then we'll be heading to Notts full of confidence.

Very disjointed performance today. Made hard work of a game we should have won comfortably.

Question for me though is WHY haven't you got the depth? Why are players like Brindley playing at CB, Austin at LWB etc? You look at your bench and I didn't see a single game changer. I know you're missing Jones, Scott and Cameron, but how is Jim O'Brien your back up CM?
We were very loyal and gave contracts to three players in their mix 30's past their best. Williams likes a small squad to work with which is fine until injuries kick in, which they have and we have no youth team players knocking on the door of the first team.
We also have a physically small side so unless we're right on our game we lose out in scrappy exchanges to bigger players in those middle of the park head tennis bouts.
As I keep saying, we just need to cling onto top seven until the window opens and hope the recruitment team being their A game and the owners spend a few quid.
We got tonked today and looked weak but we're not a million miles away from the standard but we will need new personnel as there's not enough at the club as it stands.

No I've been out with the family.

I predicted a defeat and gave detailed reasons, I was asked if I was drunk. Nope just bang on the money.

Talking of money Notts deservedly losing big meant I won big on this fixture. 5 of 6 bets (BTTS, Mansfield win, BTTS and Mansfield win and draw HT/away FT ) all came only one that didn't was Flint first goal scorer. No real consolation but I know very generous odds when I see them. Sad to be beaten, sad to no longer be top of the table but a richer man since the FT whistle.

It was the standard Notts vs Stags game, I've seen in a dozen or so times before. I don't think Jones and Cameron would have made a jot if difference

Still there is only one side above us in the table this evening and they were my bet for the title :£
