Agree with your first point, but disagree with your second point. Still loads of points up for grabs and a couple of wins on the bounce and we’re right back in amongst it.
How can we be promoted if we can't beat a side like Harrogate either home or away? They did a job on us last month but if we cant work out a way to play against them its curtains I'm afraid.
But it will definitely be called off. Let's just hope they make an early decision a d dont wait until tomorrow.

You... you do this deliberately, right? Like in a “Mark-Cooper-using-quipping-about-Justin-Edinburgh’s-untimely-death-as-a-psychological-weapon” way?
I must and will correct you.
Mark Cooper was exonerated of any misconduct by the FA who chose not to pursue Ross Embleton's complaint after he was sent off during match.

Cheltenham at home what do i know about them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,They take foul throws and use a towel.
Seen it before with Tranmere and Stoke

Towel is available to both teams so is perfectly legal - you might want to look up the rules.

As for Saturday's game - God knows what to expect. We're still struggling to score and now Chris Hussey is out and we tend to struggle a lot when he's not in the team.

With that being said, if we play like we did against Mansfield last week then we should win because - shooting aside - we were fantastic on Sunday. Duff's pointed out as well that there's places up for grabs against Man City next week so no shirking will be accepted.

2-0 to Cheltenham - Alfie May and a Will Boyle header from a Tozer throw.

Doesn’t mean Cooper didn’t say it (I think we all know he did) just that the 4th official didn’t hear it.

Nah, the Cheltenham long throws aren't foul throws.

That’s a silly comment really. Plenty of teams will have been promoted but will have lost to lower places teams during the season, especially in a division like L2.

Anyway, game’s just been called off, so we now have 20 games in hand.

Not true and why are you dragging up old news?
The story is done and dusted and Mark Cooper was given a clean bill of health.
Obviously Embleton misheard some sort of remark and made a big deal of it and was sent off.
End of.

Biggest game of the season for us with Southend at home. Saying that, all 5 of our next games are our biggest games of the season.

I’ve a feeling it’ll be off and considering where we’re at with our squad at the minute I’ll be more than happy with that

looking forward to seeing what team Pugh goes with again, I imagine it will be close to last saturday but with Guthrie or Robinson for Pope due to his injury. I'd glady take a point right now but i'm expecting at least a competitive performance even if we don't get anything.

Hopefully Jake Taylor and Guthrie give us more mobility, certainly with Rodney too and potentially Amoo.

Don’t know if they set up differently at home but we got plenty of joy against them with Rodney going at their full back so worth targeting that again.

Should be a good game hopefully, good news that Hurst is fit so getting back to full strength especially with Gibbo close.

We tend to dominate possession and play a fairly high line at home, as a lot of teams come and sit deep knowing they'll get chances on the break given we switch off at the back from time to time.

If Vale come and press us like Newport and Crawley did, then it should be quite an entertaining end to end sort of game. Their wingers, Rodney especially gave us a lot of problems away and given how advanced our wing backs always are that might be an issue again. We need to avoid conceding early as that's been a problem quite often this season, the hope is 2 weeks off will mean we're fit and sharp rather then a bit rusty but we shall see.

With 4 going out in the last week or so including previously nailed on starters Winchester and Kitching our squad does look a bit thinner. Expect Cargill and Hutchinson to make their debuts, Cargill almost certain to start I reckon. Hutchinson is pretty young so might be a bit much to expect him to step straight in as Winnie's replacement, more likely it will be someone like Whitehouse or Moore-Taylor initially while he beds in.

Pope being out will help us as we often struggle against him, Guthrie will be up for it but has never played that well when coming back here.

just seen Pugh's press conference and it sounds like they're waiting until next week to de-register a player following Guthrie's arrival so maybe that means he wont be in the squad unless we can take pope out for now and stick him back in if he can return this season - that does look unlikely however.

totally forgot about Jake Taylor valefan16 - yes he's a must start for me too although not sure how he fits in to a 4-4-2.

maybe we'll be more 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 to try and pack the midfield a bit.

Why do you have to de-register players?

Seems a bit daft seeing as no fans are allowed!

I bow to the superior knowledge of a local regarding the conditions but really?

Surely you can just cry about the towels to the EFL and move the advertising hoardings spitefully close to the pitch like last time?
Towels have a place in the 10m Free dive not on a football field
I would have the hoardings a foot behind the lines, bring Kevin Davies out of retirement and bounce them off the hoardings......problem solved

Well thats a first. All main roads are fine but couple of the smaller roads could potentially ice over tonight. But its a ridiculous decision considering there's no fans in attendance.

I agree, more so given the public effort to get the pitch playable though I suspect what’s been forecast for tomorrow morning would meant the game was off anyway.

It’s bloody ridiculous, to say the least.

Ground staff have worked tirelessly to ensure the pitch is playable - and it is.

Game called off in the unlikely event that someone may injure themselves outside. Apparently, it would put unnecessary stress on the already stretched NHS.

Fucking laughable.

10m free dive? David Lee was good at that.

So you can't play in case someone slips outside and injures themselves? What about the chances of injuries during matches? Surely that's more likely then one of the very few people at the match slipping on their arse outside the ground? In which case makes you wonder why games are allowed at all.

Forgive me for believing the evidence of my own eyes over some FA whitewash and your ecoprick of a chairman.

As for ‘dragging it up’, we haven’t had the chance to see your delightful manager since that particular incident, so it rankles somewhat that I haven’t yet been able to tell him that he’s a c*nt.

He did say Guthrie is available so not sure how it works if not until next week that we de register? Unless you get a period of time or it ceases to cap when the window is open?

Exactly.

Either the ref just couldn’t be arsed with officiating tomorrow’s game, or there’s a narrative to follow dictated by higher powers.

Don’t mind a good conspiracy theory.

On a side note this will be the outlandish kit derby! We will have to play in our white checkerboard home kit for the first time on the road this season as our all Black and our Lime Green clash with the FGR home.
