Thinking about it, maybe Zach Elbouzedi, he's only 22.
Confirmed this morning.....proberbly looking at him with a view of signing him
Is he contracted beyond June ?

Injury hit again!

No Worrall and No Montano. Ridiculous this season is.

Overall line up isn’t bad but frustrating to lose our best player yet again.

There is zero hope of us scoring today, Ryan Loft (who is fucking awful) will be left isolated on his own up front once again. Our two creative players in McAtee and Eisa are on the bench.

We're playing for a 0-0 draw but Cox clearly doesn't account for the obvious individual error which we will make like we do every week.

Not as bad as over Christmas just yet but it is getting frustrating.

No worrall no montano means no creativity. De selecting mckirdy and Robinson means we can't pick them, Whitehead pope out long term injured, oyeleke injured like normal, gibbons back in training but not fit for the bench and legge suspended basically a reserve line up again.

Did not think i could be surprised with anything Evatt does but he surpasses himself today
Signed Two youngsters from Lincoln and Huddersfield reserves.
Chucked out his 5 3 2, put the kids in and completly changed formation to 4,3,3
Four players from the team that started the season.........
We will either win 4-1 or lose 4-1
Think players are now playing for there future........shit or bust time me thinks

I like the look of the central midfield though, Joyce sitting and Conlon and Taylor further forward, best centre three we’ve had all season, Amoo and Hurst are decent wingers and Rodney is capable. That isn’t a bad line up but defensively is a concern.

Slight injuries so hopefully next week with Gibbons set to return after 3 months out and them two we will be back stronger.

Amoo is a worry though as he looks like he’s only on 70% not because he’s lazy but seems nervous after his injury hit issues.

I wish we could have a game or 2 called off give us chance get some injured players back fit but we never get that lucky. We have to keep playing with 7 or 8 Injured each week whereas other teams get games off with 2 coronavirus cases.

Looking forward we don’t play anywhere near as often on Tuesday nights going forward, once a month or so, hopefully that will mean less injuries going forwards and more recoup time.

It’s ruined our season this year so far.

We need get rid of the players who keep getting these injuries its always the same ones. Plus get rid of the crap and anybody over 32 minus scott brown. Probably only leave us with about 7 players doing that though.

Swept most of the snow off, looking pretty wet. Supposed to be raining all afternoon too so the pitch is going to be in a right state later on.

you would have been better getting the unemployed from Colchester and put those jobserve covers over the goal area

Rovers repeat the Otis Khan at right-back experiment. A bit concerned now...

There were covers on the pitch, but it was still snowing when they came off.

Playing Grimsby and Scunthorpe at home in those 6 games certainly helped them.
that's a good sign then (fingers crossed etc) - we have Scunthorpe and Grimsby at home in our next 2 games....

There is no attacking threat in our team and we've scored one equaliser all season, if you go 1-0 up its over

Pitch is absolutely atrocious at Blundell Park. Southend on top here, only a matter of time before we concede I reckon.

Very scrappy so far. Jake Taylor had a nice run down the wing and cross but apart from that bit of a struggle so far for both teams to get much going.

Not very smart to give the free kick away that led to it. Cadden for them looks a really good player, impressed at VP against us.

Not sure if Luke James has the wrong boots on or he's just terrible at winning fouls, he's fallen over about 5 times now

He is made of paper and does like a bit of a tumble. It's one of the dreariest matches I've seen in a while, so maybe he's just trying to liven things up...
