No it won't , for multiple reasons. Plus it's a very good time to play them.

Keep conceding 4 a game and that’ll be 92 conceded over the season, in home games alone. Add another 40-50 away and you’re talking about 130+. Not staying up letting in that many.

Do we reckon it's now officially 'under fire boss Phil Parkinson"

And don't get me started on Mark Hughes

Don’t know if anyone else has already said this, but Donny are fucking shit. Saw about 20 teams better than them in the National League. Get your money on them to go down on that performance.

We were decent, but Christ, we didn’t have to be.

Got murdered in the first 45-60 minutes because the manager decided to name a 2 man midfield and it got pulled apart way too easily. The amount of times Walsall's midfield/attack had a free run on our backline was ridiculous. Problem is, we only have 2 midfielders we can use in Tabiner and Powell, the rest are either injured or shite. Need an extra body in there going forward, otherwise we're going to concede 2 every week.

Attack we looked a bit clueless today, but again we're badly lacking proven depth in there to change things up. Had to resort to throwing a 19 year old CB in there at the end. Got lucky with the equaliser, but Walsall got what they deserved for sitting on the lead and not killing the game off.

Get shot of Tozer. He’s a useless lump of a defender. Just playing because of his throws isn’t really paying off.

He had a good season last year but was showing signs of being too slow. I think this season will really show that to be the case.

We absolutely battered Crewe for 60 minutes, should have been 3 or 4 up. They score a lovely goal on the counter to be fair and we once again dropped a bollock and just sat deep for 30 minutes. I was losing my mind. Equaliser was inevitable even if they didn't really create much of anything because, as we showed against Wrexham, we will just gift teams goals with silly mistakes. Didn't help that Sadler took off Johnson and Draper and stuck the useless lump Jamille Matt upfront for the last half an hour who just jogged about like he had shit himself. Crewe CB's had all the time in the world to pick a pass and move it with him on and not DJ and Draper harrying them.

On the balance of play we should have won but we absolutely deserve to draw just for the sheer naivety and cowardice we showed being so defensive after being so on top for the first two thirds of the game. Big, big learning curve for Mat Sadler and he has to learn quick. We are very much a side that sums up our manager. Lots of bright nice ideas, positivity - and yet naïve and inexperienced and nervous.

If we were a racehorse you’d say our form has worked out pretty well. Fared okay in all league games and all of those sides have had very good starts.

We looked decent enough today but Mansfield looked very dangerous, the Holohan challenge was a red for me, he had no reason to go down. Can’t believe Conteh not only plays for us but is our player, absolutely class again.

A lot to feel confident about for both sides.

Absolute dog pooh. Second best across the park. Saved from a bigger defeat by some poor/unlucky finishing from Wimbledon.

Including our abysmal ending to last season that’s 1 win in 15 league matches. Worrying

Langstaff loves a brace

Definitely an element of confidence player in him. Wouldn't surprise me if he now goes in a bit of a streak.
If we feed him a few chances I'm pretty confident he'll score plenty again this season. He's never not looked sharp, just been feeding off scraps.

First decent team we’ve faced today and we were a million miles away. Stockport should’ve had five or six but for poor finishing and misplaced crossing.

We should’ve been playing 10-men after Knoyle kicked Duffus’ face off, but that aside we never even threatened. Definitely not a top-half team without a handful of new signings before the window shuts.

Agree. Sooner he's gone the better.
I don't understand why clubs keep giving him chances, the lack of imagination is staggering. You're a multi million pound business and your main man has a history that's veered between plodding mediocrity with a huge budget to garbage with a large budget....for years, everywhere he's been.
Not a dig at Bradford, loads of clubs do it and I genuinely wonder how successful business men get it so wrong with glaringly bad managerial appointments.

But they won't keep conceding 4 a game. Football doesn't tend to work like that.

Good solid performance today. Good pace up front and pressed well, got the 2 goals and sat back. Should have had 4 or 5, missed some sitters
Shocked by FGR who are a shadow of the promotion team of 2 years ago. Haven’t seen a team who made so many missed passes and errors. Reminded me of Scunthorpe when they were relegated. Inniss has regressed since his time with us which is quite an achievement. Tippy tappy ain’t gonna work with the back line you had today.
As for Deeney he looked like a winner of one of those fan comps. Well off the pace and overweight.

I think the Hughes appointment was done for PR reasons - put bums on seats and sell cheap season tickets. Only reasons I can think of really.

I remember that 1 win well. Only 1 but it had you top of the pile

You're welcome

Rumours that Bradford’s board were so impressed by Morecambe’s performance today that they are going to “pull out all the stops” to poach their manager from them.
