Been in 2nd gear this half. Sloppy goal to concede, frustrating

RARE 3 points on the road. Clinical 1st half. Pretty comfortable 2nd half, frustrating to concede a goal like we did.

Showed our quality in that first half, too many good players given far too much time to do what they want with the ball.

If only we could win at home...

Shite that. No urgency to get back into it at all. I'm more frustrated by the second half than the first. Wrexham incredibly clinical, have to give them credit for that. Gave them way too much respect for me though, especially in the second half when we should have gone for it much earlier. Assume Vernam isn't fit as we were crying out for him.

From a mansfield perspective (presumably wrexham too) a draw between stockport and MK is preferable followed by a win for stockport.

Please sack him. I don’t really care when, it doesn’t matter anymore but he can’t be in charge next season.

I think he probably had the Walsall and Donny games in the back of his mind and didn’t want another.

Any but an MK win will do me. Stockport win my first choice. Not fussed about coming 1st, anywhere in the top 3 will do me

i’m the same.

If we can keep 5 clear of MK, with a better GD and a game in hand (at home to forest green) i’d be happy

Is it EnglishRed or chief that gets really upset whenever anyone says Mullin dives?

That would be me. I can't handle it and start crying.

Did look like Tharme threw his elbow out, but it was a minimal contact. Most players go down when they feel contact, and Mullin is no different, I get more annoyed by the suggestion that he is worse than anyone else.

Consecutive wins for the first time in 13 months, what a time to be alive!

Over the course of the 90 minutes I felt 3-1 was probably a fair reflection, although Arnold did make some decent saves at big moments.

Going into last Saturdays match we were 6 points off of safety. Now we’re a point off. We’ve grown a backbone, hopefully for our sakes it’s not too late

Couldn't get a WiFi signal to watch the game (pay £30 and we guarantee it) but pleased with that result.

Kelly (first goal) was a free agent. American playing in the leagues below MLS. He's looked pretty good at times. First goal for us and first in UK.

Surprised Williams played. He had been called up by St Kitts or something . Orsi continues a good season with the 3rd.

Scruffy, wind affected game but we ground out a win.
After being behind twice that feels like a big win.
Keeps our faint play off hopes alive.
A special thank you to the Morecambe keeper who had an absolute nightmare.

Beat Newport 1-0 with a Cole Stockton goal.
Newport didn't offer too much threat (it was hard given the gale force wind) and as soon as they brought Zanzala on we knew we'd hold on.
Just want a Stockport v MK draw now for a great weekend.

Casey got his wish. Not only were Rovers on the beach but so was Adkins selecting a subs bench without a single defender only for left-back Connor Wood to be taken off, I think injured. Crawley scored with all of their efforts on target, the first two helped by dismal defending. Strong shout for a Rovers penalty when we were only a goal behind, but I only had a side on view and couldn’t tell where the contact was. End of season for us.

Okay thanks, I think I'm getting to grips with the Mullin glossary with your help.

1 all at crewe and I'd have taken that at the start of the day. We will just miss out on playoffs due to our Jan wobble when our centre backs were out.

Fairly sure that will have sealed our relegation. We offered little, although we have played worse on several occasions this season. Charlie McCann being on international duties (I presume) meant that other players had to step up to his role of passing the ball to the Invisible Man.

Main positive : Garrick is fit enough, at last, to feature?! Even though he could hardly shine in the context of the Big Dunc Half Season from Hell, we saw a hint of what we've been missing. Indeed, all three of the players brought on in that very Cotterill triple substitution brought energy and freshness. Dabo made some smart moves, Brown brought back flashes of his old magic, and Garrick looked strong and capable.

Of course this was not enough.

A home win at last. We should have put half a dozen on Accrington really who were terrible defensively. Too little too late for us, left ourselves too much to do. Win away at Salford and we might start giving ourselves a bit of hope ahead of Easter Monday versus Swindon. But can’t see us going there and winning. We’ve probably got our wins against the 3 poorest sides in the league at this time.

Bit of a crazy half that. Getting roasted for the first 25 minutes only for MK Dons to give us the first on a plate.
