Got there in the end. Two contrasting halves. In the first half we were excellent and could have put the game to bed by then but had to dig in a little more second half. Definitely a lot of good things to take from it overall.

Nice to see we can turn it around rather than just dismally watch the time slip away. Not a massive improvement but the subs worked, popped a few crosses in and got the goals. Morecambe didn't really seem to react either.

Huge win, made far harder than we needed to with them getting one back and us missing countless chances but we looked more like our old self today.

Scrappy second half. 1-1 is acceptable as we did not play well apart from maybe 15-20 minutes before half time.

Ran out of steam in the last 10 minutes, you could see it coming. Decent performance but gutting to throw it away like that. The way we've been defending recently we can't expect to hold on defending for 30 + minutes on the edge of our own box.

Forest Green will be up there at the end, very good side.

Not a great performance from us, and not a classic game but it's a point won rather than two points dropped at Oldham through the week. Morecambe at home next up, could still do with a win.

The subs and change of formation changed the game for us after 30 mins because before that Southend were well on top. After that I felt we were the better side and could have added one or two more.

Hopefully we can improve on this now but it really is doing my head in how slow we are coming out the blocks.

Good point...Negatives Crellins howler Referee Howler good goal Disallowed, Doyle out for a few weeks
Hamstrung
Positives
Brockbank at lwb, Tutte running the midfield instead of Comley
Sarcevic getting better each game

Cambridge are not a good team....nothing to fear but we wont go anywhere with the 11 he picks.

Another home draw for us - 2-2. A good result on paper, but we need the win to give us confidence. Another stupid mistake to allow them back in - so many self-inflicted goals conceded this season. Can't really blame the manager for that, though I think he deserves criticism for his substitutions (or lack of) and poor signings.

Bloody hell our game was shit today. The weather didn't help in the first half, but christ we were awful with our passing.

That being said, Mansfield weren't much better. 0-0 bore draw arguably a fair result.

Ends 1-1 Salford v Crawley.

Good game played in a torrential downpour. Probably dryer in Borneo!

Good goal by Wilson for Salford but too much space on the edge of the area. We came back into the game and probably shaded it. Francomb scored his 3rd of the season from full back but although we pressed towards the end a draw was probably a fair result.

Now we wait for the real entertainment of the afternoon. The after match interview.

It sounds a bit silly saying you should have won every game. Your old manager doesn’t seem to share that opinion on Tuesday nights game.

We were very poor today by the standards of our previous games this season - to be fair Bolton looked pretty decent, especially Sarcevic and Santos; not quite sure why they are down so low...

Bolton 'goal' correctly ruled out, why their forward passed it to someone in an offside position when he had a clear shot at goal himself is beyond me.

Poor ref mind, made it difficult for both sides...

I think it’s absolutely shocking and quite frankly a disgrace that Port Vale only won 2-1 considering the squad they have at their disposal.

Of course we should. You only scored because we switched off for the last set piece. And we should have been 4-1 up when Angus went wide instead of putting it over the keeper - stats have nowt to do with it.

Should have been out of sight in that game in the first half but if you don't take your chances then you're always likely to be hanging on a bit in the end. A much better performance from us today though going forward - We created more in this game than the others before combined almost. I thought Oldham looked a pretty average side but you can only beat what's in front of you, and I know plenty of their fans before the game were praising the starting 11 they put out. Still not convinced by Robinson, or any of our other forward for that matter. To me they are all great back up options. Give us a 20 goal striker and we would be nailed on top 3.

Amoo made a big difference for us today, and it was nice to see Burgess play how we know he's capable of playing after his poor start to the season.

Very poor from us today, really missed Hoolahan, far too slow moving the ball and didn't play the conditions very well. Win would have been unjust but should see the game out once we go up that late, far too much space afforded to Sarcevic for the goal, and a little lucky to hang on in the end. Hopefully a blip.

yeah he's under that much pressure he's lost it - even tried to claim our 3rd goal was 3 yards off side when photos clearly show Angus was a half yard onside...

Look on the bright side everybody. We could be supporters of VVV Venlo in Holland.

Another game, another loss to nil. More of the same really, first half was an improvement on previous games but it wasn't great. We had one half decent chance not taken by Newton but aside from a few pot shots we didn't really trouble Vigouroux. Second half Orient were the better side, capitalised on an error at the back to make it 1-0 before a decent passing move made it 2-0.

Can't comment on what happened after that as I logged off. Been painful watching us over the last couple of seasons. Any early signs of improvement under Revell have evapourated in recent times. Not calling for his head just yet but something needs to change if we're going to stand a chance of staying up. On to Harrogate on Tuesday.

There’s a lot of “could have” “should have” in this thread today.

Poor from us today, the midfield which has been great of late just wasn’t flowing, both boateng and digby spent too much time on the ball and mullin had no service.

definitely missed hoolahan and I’ve have liked bonner to have mixed it up tactically earlier in the 2nd as we clearly wasn’t playing well.

boltons perfectly good goal looked way offside to me but there’s no denying they deserved a point maybe more on another day.

Yeah he looked onside to me on the highlights, but quite often when you watch games live in real time on and offsides can look different compared to when you watch back later on tv

You should be beating the smaller sides TBH

Clearly your lot were knackered from that monumental effort against us in midweek! :shifty:

Still not won, game was there for the taking for both teams in the second half and neither fancied it.
