tbh if we're safe by then I'd prefer Lincoln to not be leading. If they have to go up via the playoffs, considering they only have fixture congestion because of their cup runs, then it will surely bring about 3 up, 3 down

Whatever league we are in next year, the priority has to be a genuine goalscorer to play alongside Rhead. We've done well really without anyone getting close to 20 goals.

Not a convincing showing by Rovers against a battling Braintree side. With Dover reinforced by Miller up next, any faint hope of going up automatically could be gone by Tuesday.

What a shit weekend. Had time to reflect and we're an absolute joke when we come up against a proper team, as soon as we're bullied we aren't interested. Please add us to the 2017/18 national league list Cus we aren't winning the play offs. Congratulations Lincoln, not going to be one of those mutants you see on Facebook calling everyone plastic just because we lost been the much better team this season. Just going to accept we simply aren't good enough.

Aldershot were a decent looking side on saturday. Similar style of play to ourselves, but we were just toothless up top again. Happened far too many times at home this season.

Reading the Guiseley forum you'd think they play like Barcelona the way they've been going on about Dover. They were awful. Perhaps if they'd not spent 90 mins abusing Miller and Modeste they'd have noticed their side being outclassed not cheated

You are correct we were awful. Dover were by far the better team.

Miller was on a wind up mission as usual although I think Modeste was innocent of any gamesmanship in this game which was good to see.
Grimes and Emmanuel both hitting the deck at the slightest touch and crying to the referee - embarrassing really but the ref bought it most of the time.
You definitely deserved the win Millers 1st was outstanding, I don't know how he scored from such a tight angle, he can only have had a balls width to aim at for it to squeeze in.
I think the two late penalties were borne of frustration at our own performance and after we took off a center back for a forward and left us vulnerable but at 0-2 down it was worth a go.
Cassidy really should have buried his header from a corner in the first half to equalise, that might just have given us some composure to build from.
We have to be far better against Southport on Saturday, we need something from that game.
