ah bless county, one of those clubs who isn’t anyone’s main rival trying to get folk to remember they exist.

Good win today, mind.
Ha. You’ve forgotten young Adam, that we had quite a big rivalry with Chesterfield last season, and they’re nearly as poxy as Mansfield!

Always seen Chesterfield like Lincoln tbh. It's a derby in that it's local but beyond that not much too it.

I recall you both fighting it out for the right to play us, it’s all good.

As said previously, clearly every mansfield fan wanted you to win that game given it was between an arch rival and a meh local side. We should really be buying you pints.

The difference between having you and them lot in the league isn’t comparible.

I’m glad you’re back up with new owners, it’s nice to see.

Made me laugh reading stagsnet before the playoffs, Mansfield wanting anyone but Notts or Chesterfield to go up, I mean who wants a local Derby

Good to have a decent messageboard tbh, something us and chestefield have in common, i’m sure county will get one someday.

I mean the conference was really weak last season but given the amount of points they got it would’ve been a travesty had county not made it up, especially when it was at the expense of our main rivals.

If anything you deserve a beer!

Firstly reading Stagsnet back then is weird behaviour from yourself, secondly I knew many including myself that genuinely wanted County to go up before it was a final vs our non-league friends across the M1.

Many because they wanted a derby again, and others, like myself just because I felt you deserved it after that season.

Not has weird has having a 400 and 200 page thread devoted to your local rivals.

I agree this is weird and will never get it. We have some fans so obsessed with Chesterfield that it makes you wonder who they actually support.

They had what!!!??!!!!!!!

I'm sure those numbers must be exaggerated a little but please tell me we were only the 200 page thread? Both must have been very busy on the 13th May this year.

There wasn't a single thread on our very popular but questionable quality message board about the North Nottinghamshire power house for the five seasons the Stags spent down their getting #stained. We were too busy concentrating on being ****, spending fake millions, getting promoted in style and then getting relegated back to L2.

Yeah it is a bit odd, however they’re our rivals so always going to be laughing when they’re losing at bloody altrincham

I think it’s more the stick we got from both chesterfield and county when we went down stick, it’s so nice of them to join us in the #metoo movement.

Getting stick for getting relegated is normal, expected it would weird not to receive it.

Quick look at the messageboard and my fellow pie is indeed correct the designated Chesterfield non league thread is comfortably over 400 pages now. No signs of a Notts one, can only assume it was similarly named and had to be deleted since we got promoted after that unforgettable season

Quite, it was changed. Again were fully behind you in the playoff final to win, the choice was easy.

All football fans have to do is see the sorry tale of Southend on how easily it can go wrong when you exit the football league, we were both fortunate enough that we've both dedicated, sound owners.

Just didn't really turn up. Colchester were decent, we were very poor. Missed the energy of Jefferies in the middle, we were way too lethargic. Towards the end their two forwards beat us up a bit - not great players but physically challenging and we didn't really cope. 3rd goal was about 10 yards offside though.

Was about to ask about that, someone said yesterday there had been a crash.

I hope it wasn't serious and all involved are ok./make a speedy recovery.

Very true but the earlier suggestion from your Spanish amigo of an impending relegation battle looks more than a little off.

I don't think we've played any quality L2 side yet but what gives me confidence we will be fine this season is our starting lineup oh and our head coach. He seems to just work things out which is handy.
I said nutts and wrexham were not gonna piss this league as some had suggested and that both of you will get a shock its still early days

Must have been fans of others clubs who suggested that.

Two weeks ago you also said ""Nearly 13 k seriously impressive think it will decrease when your in a relegation battle"

Sounds like you were/are predicting a relegation battle for the stylish magpies.

It's times like this where you wished this place had mods.

It does.

You might be surprised to hear though that moderating a football forum doesn’t take precedence in day-to-day life.

Thanks for the work you do on the forum, Lancashire.

This section looks after itself 99% of the time, pretty much self policed I would say. When you've got people turbo posting shite like that (the Scunthorpe fan not Chief) your assistance is much appreciated.

It’s very rare we actually need mods, which for a football forum is pretty good going.

Very poor commitment that, mods shouldn't have anything else going on in their lives.

On a serious note, good job banning that fool.

Need some sort of light that shines a logo into the sky above the metropolis so the mods know they're required, could call it the Twat Signal.

There's a video of it doing the rounds, whoever is driving is directing through one of those small tunnels you get under railways, loses control and spins into somebody's driveway wall & car. There's about four of them in the car and they all walk away.

Whoever was behind the wheel needs to lose their licence, though. Someone crossing the road would have been wiped out at that speed.
