Akins is out for a few weeks likely after today so a big loss for Stags.

Going back to yesterday another prime example of how we’re nearly shooting our selves in the foot again. Should be out of sight at half time and yet i oh 1-0, glorious chance just after the halftime whistle to make it 2 and we blaze over, walsall equalise out of nothing and it’s all square again, we’ve got to be more clinical.

I mean we had two midfielders in our back three, a Left WB at RWB, Tozer recalled. who has been defensively suspect lately, and we started with our fourth choice striker alongside Mullin - as well as a recalled Andy Cannon who hasn't played for weeks. Add in the fact that we've not beaten Notts at home for 20 years I think there was reasons for the pessimism.

We've had a great October though, I wasn't sure where our points would. come from this month and Parky has more than delivered.

It looked like a team we'd put out for the EFL Trophy. Big credit to Parky there, he obviously knew which players were meant to play that one.

Morecambe probably put in the worst full 90 minutes against us this season so far.

They were always strong at home, seems like they have improved massively away since.

Out of the sides we’ve played in the top 7 there was only stockport which made me take notice (thankfully still winning the game), wrexham 2nd half after that, the rest all very meh.

Just watched the Lee goal back again, Cameron as usual more interested in pushing people about and playing the big man than doing his job. He pushed Tozer over who was then in the way, which forced the sliced clearance and looped in. Brilliant karma.

Second goal is Sunday League stuff from the County defenders. 4 defenders against just Mullin and Palmer and they combine to create a goal from a nothing long ball from the keeper.

Away from home defence is night and day to how we are at home. Stockport aside we've kept it very solid at the back. Take that game out the equation and it's 3 goals conceded in 7 games away from home, compared to 19 conceded in 8 games at home.

That being said, only Tranmere have scored less away from home..

How would you know who the most deluded fanbase in football is until this season you spent a near eternity in non league. Wrexham's current fanbase is less deluded more uneducated but that will come with time.
