I mean we’ve also got Madden, Colclough, Mandeville & Tanton all out who are also key men for us. Part of the game ain’t it
Certainly is mate.
News today that our first choice goalie is now out for 6 weeks.
Never rains and all that!!

Flynny returns I hope he gets a good reception he was a good bloke who tried his best here it just didn't work out wish him every success after today obviously. As for the game I fancy us to win 2-1 depending on who Sadler picks

Carlisle away. They’ve got a much stronger squad than Rovers, especially with our current injury absentees. We haven’t been able to strengthen those areas lacking depth during the late stages of the transfer window, though it will be interesting to see if loanee Khan starts straight off. With the discontent from home fans, our best chance is to stop the hosts scoring early and let the tension build up. Worst case scenario will not be the hammering predicted earlier in the thread.

Cover straight into the team is interesting.

Yeah looks a change in formation possibly? Chislett being out is a surprise and a big call but it finally releases the shackles of Garrity playing him as a 10 I assume. 4-3-3 it looks?

Great that Hall and Hart are fit, Hart looked a serious one!

Pleased to see Tolaj back in the team. Seems a proper angry man when he’s playing and frankly need a bit of mongrel to our play. Surprised Chislett drops to the bench but Moore has a lot of options to call upon. Hopefully he can make better use of them this time.

That bench is mental to be fair, Byers, Amos, Chislett, Stockley, Benicio probably walk into our first XI last season! That said it was strong last week and didn’t do us much good but the depth is there if we use it correctly.

Nice touch that we are getting a young fan from the away end to announce the opposition line up before the games this season. Good memories for that young Donny fan.

Turner out as expected, Morris comes into his position in goal. Back 4 as usual, Little and McKenzie start in midfield again, with returns to the starting line up for Rowe and Lapslie alongside Nolan in the attacking midfield 3. Marcus Wyllie gets his debut up front after some indifferent performances from Wakeling in the opening weeks.

Big news on the bench is the return of the prodigal son, Bradley Dack. Enormous for us. Josh Andrews is also back from injury and makes the squad alongside new back up keeper Ashby-Hammond. Still no Nevitt, and Dieng and Hawkins added to the injured list alongside Jake Turner, Connor Masterson and the aforementioned Elliot Nevitt.

Hard game to call but I always fancy us at home. 2-1 Gills please lads.

Are Gillingham always this type of thuggery?! They could have a red and 2 yellows already. Very physical

For about 25 minutes we looked like a team that has barely met before. Since then we’ve improved. Lovely pass from Tolaj for Croasdales equaliser.

Pleased with how we’ve played down at Gillingham first half. Had luck against us as normal with the free kick that went in (although I accept difficult for the Lino to see) and hitting the post too. Switched off for Gills free kick which was well worked tbf.

Carry on like this and I think we can get back into the game. Markanday playing well.

Even game all be it we were very disjointed for the first 25 minutes, story of two beautiful assists for either goal and worried we’d drop and collapse like last week but a very good response and probably shaded it since the equaliser.

The lad we’ve signed from Leicester on loan looks good, when he’s had the ball he’s given their number 27 big problems with his pace and power but we’ve not really found him enough, not bad for a first senior start.

Mental first 10 mins, could have been 2 up then could have been 2 down. Brutal luck with the 2 woodwork hits but I think we're playing ok. Gillingham a very organised physical side with very tight man marking. There should be a goal or 2 in it for us though if we stick at it. Unlucky to be going in behind.

Would add though no formation change at all just have two strikers on but one wide!

Very close game. Nothing between the two sides really. Our build up looks a bit confused at times as we're still a very new side. Some promise but also look vulnerable.

Equaliser chalked off for a very tight offside. Done more than enough to be drawing this, if not be ahead.

That is brave giving an offside that close! You certainly couldn't tell on the box, looked level

I don't think the problem with Port Vale is the players;- they were basically as good as us for 55 minutes last week. The problem is the losing mentality that's carried over from last season - go behind and the heads drop. Only the manager and coaches can change that. I'm not sure if Darren Moore is up to it though.

*Doncaster by the way was probably the worst team that any team trying to bounce back could face - they've probably been the best team in League 2 since Christmas.

More like failure to do the basics at the back. Two atrocious goals to concede again.

That and the system is awful that Moore is employing.

No Jatta or Robertson for us today which is a blow. Big game for McGoldrick who hasn’t had many minutes this season.

Also think that side looks a bit weak, Swindon have a lot of height so set pieces will be nervy
