First 20 minutes Ipswich stroked it around really nicely, then we had fifteen minutes where we have been all over them - scored two only for the ref to call the second back to give us a penalty which we then missed…
A couple of nasty off-the-ball moments from Ipswich who are getting quite frustrated.
Second half will be tough - they will come out fired up. If we can hold the lead through the first quarter hour we may be able to get something out of this..

Referee falling for it too....I repeat, these are dreadful, just booting it forward and then throwing themselves over at every opportunity. Pathetic.
They aren’t dreadful but how would I put it, experienced maybe! I’d get Mipo on and go two up top so we actually have a striker on the field and hopefully still be in to get Proctor minutes.

Woz has been quiet, maybe worth Sammy Robinson coming on as he tore these a new one at their place.

Watch their keeper go down and have a chat with the physio towards the end if they are still leading.

They're not interested in playing football. Just hoof it forward and hope for percentages. But we've got nothing to counteract it.

Another ref who has lost the plot, this week it's Carl Boyeson

Best tactics on a sandpit, I guess. :bg:

Def pen, took him down from behind after a good move from Posh ended up with one coming back off the post. We'll be lucky to get anything from this now. Had the odd moment but not really threatened.

You must admit, it's really poor. It's essentially cheating. We haven't laid a glove on you this half.
I wish we did less game management, sure. The goalie “injuries” are too much.

Get in. Great strike. Not fully deserved … Cheltenham haven’t played badly it’s just the time wasting has been horrific. Possibly the worst I’ve seen this season. Ref hasn’t really done anything about it,

And now Bradley has been booked for time wasting for passing the ball to Toal for a throw in… where’s the consistency when Cheltenham have been time wasting all day

Absolutely dreadful performance from us, against a team who were so poor. Worrying.
Same here we are looking like a relegation side. Just had our 1st shot on target. No ideas, clueless.

Ah well, after losing our top scorer in the transfer window, missing 2 first choice centre backs and losing a 3rd to injury early doors, 3-0 is not a bad result.

Vale will do a lot better once they have a proper striker as has been said, they look good from an attacking perspective, just missing the final piece up front.

Not a bad performance but second best and Peterborough deserved their win, lots of joy down the wings and had the best of midfield. The second goal was excellent work by their lad. We're running out of games.

Poor performance against a cynical side and a dire referee but doesn’t mask the huge problems we have.

We’ve got a barely fit Proctor as our only striking option and need desperately attackers back.

Worry was Wycombe did virtually nothing of note all game but won 3-0.

Tuesday is massive now, it’s must win or serious nerves will set in. Let’s hope Taylor or Wilson are back.

FIVE WINS ON THE BOUNCE!!!

Ryan Bowman the match winner off the bench for the second weekend running. Good to see Barnsley drop points at Fratton Park. We close the gap to three points. Things are looking good down at the Meadow…

Roll on Port Vale!

We didn't, but we didn't have to, you looked a lot better after the two subs, but then our subs in turn countered that and we moved the play more back to your half.

The second and third goals really only happened because you had to commit more men forward, the scoreline wasn't really a reflection of the game though. Like I said, if you'd had a finisher it would have been a different story, but...

Beginning to lose faith in McKenna now. Poor form for far too long. The whole of 2022, across two seasons we had a brilliant record, including a fantastic run of consecutive clean sheets.

Ever since I’ve watched Town, the club can’t keep up a promotion form for a whole season. We wasted 14/15 after being top half way through, nearly missing out on the play offs! Some things clearly never change.

Play offs our best chance of going up now, but the team can’t cope with pressure so imo even that’s out the window.

Do you reckon you’ve possibly made too many signings?
