If we do hold out I think this ref is going to need a police escort out of Pride Park. Derby fans are absolutely raging at him.

Good day so far for the promoted sides against some of the bigger boys.

First half we were woeful but I’ve lost count of how many clear cut opportunities we’ve had second half. Could have had 3/4 at least. Games like this are what will cost us at the end of the season. After getting my hopes up … this week has brought me crashing back to reality. We just aren’t putting the ball in the back of the net.

Some exellent performances today, Exeter, Port vale and Forest Green achieving great results -well done

Delighted with Fleetwood's draw at high flying Pompey, if people did'nt know it they do now, we are a hard team to beat. Be interested to hear from the home fans on the game and their thoughts

Tomorrow I am going to the christening of my great grand daughter, it will be a good day

Yeah you’ve had loads of the ball, but it’s mainly in safe areas. We aren’t a pressing side so are happy to sit off and let you have it. Your set pieces haven’t been great either.
Haven’t been for the last couple of seasons, that’s been a huge weakness for us. 5-10 goals a season from set pieces could be the different between going up and not and we never score from them

Have a good one!
Out of interest did were you one of the people that made the long track to Exmouth Town for the FAV back in 1985?
As an Exmouth chap I was there.
Funny how things move on. You're now comfortably settled in L1.
The "Muff" have, after decades (or should it be "decayed's") in the Devon and, recently, Western League, have finally made it up to the lower reaches of the Southern version.
Your climb gives hope for us all - I guess that's why we still do it (at all levels) week after week!

Look out here they come!
What a fantastic name, really imaginative and must have taken a really long time to think that one up.

See you at the end of the month.

KTF.

The Cobblers are our rivals. I know you lot were non-league for a many years so you might have lost touch with the ins and outs of league football, during your wooden rattles and tin foil FA cup years

Knackered after that. Finally get a referee give us something!

First thirty we arguably were the better side but they hit us on the break, Conlon did a McKirdy penalty and it was all so frustrating.

Then Derby had a good 15 just before half time and could of got a couple but after half time we were excellent, great penalty from Harrison.

The red card I didn’t really see but Smith is such a great shithouse. Didn’t seem overly intense complaints from the players when he walked but that’s about four players he’s goaded into a reaction now and worked a treat.

Great finish from JW9 and we were relatively comfortable. Just had to deal with long balls or set pieces which seemed to be their main tactic.

Fully deserved and a great noise in the away end. That was the performance we’d been threatening in most recent games.

Do the Port Vale fans on here not go to games?

Jesus that was dreadful today. Both teams could not string a pass together. Charlton the poorest side i've seen this season. At least we didnt lose it.

3 very tough games coming up - Ipswich, Sheff Wed and Barnsley. Would be very surprised if it did not end with 3 loses.

Can’t speak for others but as I live about 100 miles away not as often as would like with the home games to be honest so use the old VPN and iFollow. Today was more a case of it being sold out for ages so couldn’t get a ticket. Will be at the next one though and then at Cambridge.

Surely a red for the guy who pushed him off as well then?
He pushed him in the chest to get him off Smudge. That’s never violent conduct behave.

Still arms raised to another player whatever the circumstances. If that had been one of our players he'd have been off

That kind of contact happens all over the place at set pieces. If your comparing that to a forearm smash in Smudgers head!

I was living in East Sussex at the time, didn't make it although I had gone up to Wembley the year before to see Fleetwood lose to Halesowen. Your spot on mate re climbing up from the lower reaches, I love to see 'smaller' clubs punching above their weight, it's a bit like life eh, never giving up and going that extra mile. No disrespect to our big neighbours in this league but when the big boys start winning every week it becomes monotonous and boring, of course if you are as Man City fan ..........
