Yeah sensible decision for all involved. Seems the pitch must have been saturated already from the heavy snow melt and yesterday's heavy rain just compounded it, given the forecast it was only ever going to get worse.

This afternoon's fixture at Sutton United has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at The VBS Community Stadium. Following heavy rain overnight an early pitch inspection was arranged and the Referee deemed the fixture unplayable.

Rovers v Newport. Only managed one home win against the Exiles in recent years and that was during the pandemic with no fans in the ground to see it. Strong winds forecast around ko and wet throughout.

Despite the reasonable showing by the forwards at Mansfield, expecting Dennis back from injury and Jennings up front again. Turnbull banned for this one, probably Yarney deputises as the only other central defender Belehouan looks very raw. Hoping Connor Wood fit at left-back as Jake Leake looking rusty since his return from injury.

Need something out of this game, but with the visitors in improved form that may need Rovers to be at the top of their game.
