Clarke has most certainly done very well since taking over so much so that he's being touted for the Scotland job. Personally I hope he remains at Killie and continues as he has done. You never know, it may make the league more competitive....;)
Killie for a late title charge!

Kind draw for the Old Firm duo:

Celtic v Greenock Morton

Aberdeen v Kilmarnock

Motherwell v Heart of Midlothian

Rangers v Falkirk

Got to admit that after 28 minutes I was fearing the worst because Rangers were bloody awful up to that point and when Morelos missed from about 4 feet I thought....that's us fucked. But they pulled themselves together, Morelos got one back to equalise and it was no easy chance let me say. Don't know what Murty said to the team at halftime but it done the trick with Morelos getting a second, two for Windass who is gaining a lot of confidence, playing really well and scoring goals. One each for Cummings and Murphy polished off a fine second half performance. Glad to see Cummings start and score. I like that lad and did even when he was at Hibs (have I said that before?). A home game against Falkirk in the 1/4's, can't take anyone for granted but hopefully we get to the semis.

Here, Salty did I say......GIRUY ? Ooops, just noticed I did.......:ohy:

Great comeback win for Dundee today, gives us a bit of breathing space for a week or two!

former arab that won the game for you. Still, great result.

Decent win for us at Hamilton yesterday but we have to get that defence sorted. Feared the worse when they opened the scoring but we played some good attacking football with good goals. Windass with a hatrick & Morelos & Murphy also on board. Like the look of young Docherty. Good result for Rangers with Aberdeen losing at Hibs on Saturday.

McLeish would do a serviceable job and is a far superior option to, say, Giggs or Southgate.

Good win for Rangers at home to Hearts. Going by the radio updates and media reports it was a well deserved win, a fact concurred by Craig Levein. Falkirk in the Scottish cup next Sunday so hopefully we'll progress to the semis. Poor show from Aberdeen at home to Celtic yesterday but tbh from what I saw Celtic were no great shakes.

Its said Aberdeen tend to bottle it against Celtic - is that fair?

Don't know about the phrase 'bottled it'....depends on ones perspective, however they certainly have a pish record against them. Off the top of my head in the past two seasons when they have had the chance to get closer to Celtic they missed the opportunity.

Aberdeen do seem to have a mental block against Celtic that's for sure.

Jeezo, forgot about last night's game. Heard a few reports on radio & again paper reports this morning. Another decent performance resulting in a 1-4 away victory with Windass & Morelos again scoring as did Sean Goss who is really looking good....hope we can get him on a permanent if it's not too costly, same wi Jamie Murphy and Cummings.

McTominay chooses Scotland over England. Dunno if he's as good as some are suggesting, but its good news for us.

on the little I've seen of him he's been pretty decent. Been speaking to a couple of Man Utd fans who believe he's a great prospect.

Before making any evaluation of how the semi may go I'm going to wait and see how next Sunday's Old Firm Derby at Ibrox works out. Obviously Celtic will be favourites but I'm a bit more confident of Rangers putting on a better display especially in attack. However saying that I'm still a bit wary of our defence gifting opportunities and Celtic do have players that can take advantage of that. I'm just pleased that confidence seems to have grown in the team and they are scoring and making plenty of chances and put in a 'decent' performance yesterday in beating Falkirk in the Scottish Cup. No predictions from me but the team has come on a fair bit in recent weeks so fingers crossed.

Well that was a game and a half on Sunday. Best Old Firm game (for me anyway) in the past couple of years. Rangers played well first half and were more than a match for Celtic but threw away the lead just before haltime having scored within 2 minutes, a great goal by Windass which was cancelled out by another great goal by Rogic...then we went 2-1 up through Candeias before Dembele made it 2-2. Once again our defence was found wanting but I'm taking nothing away from Celtic's goals. Second half the game was there for the taking with Simunovic being red carded but for some obscure reason Rangers stood off Celtic and allowed them to play some good attacking stuff albeit with 10 men. A fine goal by Edouard (spelling) made it 2-3 but Morelos (again) squandered two great chances which 'could' have won the game for us. Anyway, an excellent game and I wasn't too disappointed as I had £50 on BTTS.....:ohy:

Saturday's game at home to Kilmarnock? Another 2 steps backwards. Beaten 0-1 is poor albeit Killie with Clarke in charge are motoring. Not a lot to say about it, if anything, apart from...hat's off to Killie.

2-2 at Fir Park on Saturday. Rangers were absolutely garbage in the first half but managed to score twice in the second to salvage a draw. Second spot in the league is looking definitely dodgy.

That was a rip roarer of a match, which could have gone either way.
Curtis Main has been a canny replacement for Moult for 'Well.
