We've got basically everyone on furlough (I think the Chief Exec and groundsmen are the only ones who aren't) and we're topping up. Players have deferred anything above the government cap.

On another note, it is a bit of a kick in the teeth if we and others get relegated and Coventry get promoted who haven't even got a ground available! I see the 10 year lease rule has seemingly been cancelled since we got our golden share back.

Exactly, they're down anyway so would they be sitting on the fence? Their preferred option, null and void, was never on the table.

Our voting intention is decided. We will accept the majority decision and vote with that, so it looks like to end the season with PPG.

See link in my first post. Garner got a decent win/performance finally against Sunderland last time out so want to give him more competitive games to prepare for the following season, whenever that is, and make decision on contracts etc

Owner has it covered apparently. I agree though, effectively a very expensive pre-season!!

I would have preferred just promoting the top 3 as it stands and relegating bottom 3. Tough on Tranny but some have to suffer if the majority of teams don't agree to play.

it will cost at least £400k just to play the games with zero income coming in so the total loss will probably be around £2.5m. You then have to counter in contracts ending so finishing the season without a full squad and no time to sort anything for next season if the club hasn’t folded by then so the 5 points are pretty irrelevant.

Other clubs are in the same boat, if not worse, and choosing to play on. My club are circa £24 million in debt and apparently are still voting to finish the season.

Personal preference I guess, but while you have a shot at promotion I would vote to play. BR are currently 2 places higher than the same stage in 2007 where we sneaked into the play off and won them.

I understand the argument of a possible play-off place however the long term future of the club is far more important and the strong possibility that 60 clubs could go to the wall in the next few weeks if things aren’t sorted really states how ridiculous it is to try to finish the current season

It won't be 60 clubs just for the simple fact that if 60 clubs went bust it would become 72 because the remaining 12 wouldn't have anyone to play against.

Sure, it’s easy to point to the small, bottom feeders as prime candidates, but surely those bigger L1 and Championship clubs will take a huge hit. Indebted up to their eyeballs, foreign owners getting their fingers burnt, big expensive squads to finance.

I think it would be easier for the smaller clubs to pull up the drawbridge and sit it out.

I would say that probably 75% as a minimum of Championship Clubs are at risk, the overspending trying to achieve the premiership has got to take its toll.

Yeah I think we were one of the last clubs to furlough staff as well. Yeah we own the stadium but debts are more than its worth so not looking good
