That got me thinking, is a significant portion of the Stags' support from Sutton-in-Ashfield?I don’t think you can conveniently forget a population where the club is actually based
Great figures tho!

At Mansfield, last season average home attendance (not including away fans) was 4663, but this season we have sold 4338 up to last Thursday.Rather mentally, we're now at 5614, on the last day of discounted prices. The poplulation of Grimsby is 88000, so that's 1 in every 15 people (yes I'm conveniently forgetting the 38000 who live in Cleethorpes to make it seem better, they've got their own team ).
It's also 82% of traditional home capacity. Does anyone in the division have higher?
Well we'll go with the Cleethorpes population figure in that case!I don’t think you can conveniently forget a population where the club is actually based

I actually dirb't realise how big Sutton is until I googled it earlier. One of those decent-sized towns that falls under the radar, probably because of its much more salubrious neighbour. A bit like Immingham and Grimsby...We definitely have a decent fanbase in Sutton/ashfield but I’m not sure how significant it is.
In the Ashfield district we tend to pull more from Sutton and Kirkby due to it being literally next door to Mansfield, but as you get closer to Nottingham ie Hucknall it’s pretty much non-existent - entirely Forest.
70% increase - can anyone better that (apart from Lincoln's post-Cowley 1000% increase) - what is Mansfield's increase, seemed alot?Realise this has turned into the Grimsby lot getting giddy thread but is anyone actually selling season tickets?
Our final figure after the discount period
Check out the noise our 1200 made at Wrexham in the play-off semi. 1200 away at BP in a full house is enough to make a cracking atmosphere.Fantastic numbers by Grimsby, hope I can get a ticket shame they look like they’ll be reducing the away end although I understand why. I still prefer an atmosphere when there’s a big away following not a fan of what they do at the likes of Pompey, Luton and the dogs dilutes it a bit for me. Home crowds often feed off away.
I still prefer a full stand for an away end regardless although I know it’s not that common these days.Check out the noise our 1200 made at Wrexham in the play-off semi. 1200 away at BP in a full house is enough to make a cracking atmosphere.

The *108 posh seats behind the plexiglass in the Findus standWhat are executive tickets?
Now up to 4420 season tickets sold, so only a 55% increase on last season.Mansfield from 2861 to 4338 season ticket holders
Will it affect the pay on the day figures ? Good going though. Now up to 4420 season tickets sold, so only a 55% increase on last season.
Well yeah, not sure where you expected them to be or what else that description could have impliedThe Exec boxes then?
Jason Stockwood mentioned 200 corporate seats sold in his interview - I think it must be the exec boxes (108) plus season ticket sales that include McMenemy's - sitting in the Upper behind the Directors box. We have under-provision compared to all the new grounds and it's a massive earner...Well yeah, not sure where you expected them to be or what else that description could have implied
I'm with you, I think it's shit that clubs do this nowadays and it's very frustrating for fans who go to away matches. I think they'll see sense and give you the usual 1800 that you get.I still prefer a full stand for an away end regardless although I know it’s not that common these days.
Not just the inside boxes. There are varying levels of corporate sponsorship. The boxes are the top level STs on offer but you can also get seats in the upper Findus stand too as part of your package. I'm assuming those are the STs that are included in the total, as they're actual seats in a stand. The Exec boxes then?
Very good. Probably top ten outside the top flightOn the topic of ST sales, it seems we sold an additional 500 or so priced at £300-£420.
Total sold is around 14,600.

Well, I dunno, I've never known Clubs include Exec Boxes in their ST sales before, which makes more sense with SoC's description below that the ones counted aren't the Exec boxes as you thought.Well yeah, not sure where you expected them to be or what else that description could have implied
