Season tickets still selling at the higher pricing bracket of £300-£420. Taking a frequent look at the online seating availability, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to learn if we have shifted an additional 500 on top of the 14,100 already sold.

Kop holds 7,500, with around 1,000-1,200 seats unsold; minus front row segregation and it looks as though we’ll have around 6,000 in there most weeks. A decent season and the atmosphere will be how it was between 2012-2017 - fucking noisy.

Absolute brilliant sales. But I don't think you'll break the highest ever 4th crowd. Some 37 + at Palace in the early 60's. Not sure your ground or many other grounds in the EFL hold that much nowadays anyway.

Yeah, no chance of that.

Even if we run away with the league and we lift the Championship on the final day at VP (for example), the highest we can hope for is around 24,500.

For Mansfield somethings just happened with the club and the fanbase, I mean week after week we were getting complimented on here for good away followings and noise home and away, it was one of the better supported seasons I can remember with some memorable away days.

With Grimsby it's 'the feel good factor' with our new owners seeming to do no wrong. The toxic regime we had has gone and the transparent approach we now have is having a great effect on the Football team and the town in general.

For us the leech who was bleeding us dry finally fucked off and we now have local owners who have improved literally every aspect about the club.
The whole match day experience now is so much better and fans who said they would not go to Blundell Park again until Fenty had gone are now coming back.
Obviously promotion and the pretty unbelievable way we somehow came through those play offs has helped too but even if we’d stayed down there would’ve still been a huge increase in season ticket sales, although not to these current levels that we’ve never seen here before.

Might seem counter-intuitive but that might be one of the reasons why sales are strong across alot of clubs, invest now for your season ticket, then you have a cheap day out every other Saturday for 9 months, you won't have to find the money for discretionary spend when energy prices really hit in the winter.

Yes, as an exile I am going to struggle to get in if we are doing well. Might have to buy very early once the remaining seats go on sale each match. Some away games could well be difficult too.

Yeah, it's great that we're gonna be getting closer to filling BP on a regular basis but it's gonna be fucking annoying with regards to away tickets. I've been doing probably over half to two thirds of all our away matches a season for years (discounting a few years when I lived abroad) but now I'm gonna be scrambling around asking people who I know are ST holders to get me tickets for certain matches. I'm on holiday for the opening match and I'm thankful for that as Orient away is gonna sell out so quickly to ST holders. Ones that I had an eye on as must do matches like Wimbledon, Harrogate and Salford are gonna be very tricky too.

Some good ST sales across the board in L1 and L2. Majority of teams seem to have had increased sales for this season. I wonder why?

I know we are not in this league any more but our ST sales are around 6,000. Again, an increase for us, as expected I guess.

It will be noisy when we come there, but it is everywhere we go.

Haven't most clubs seen a boost in crowds since lockdown? Kind of like the post-WW2 boom, people are just glad to have an excuse to get out of the house. And maybe there's a bit of FOMO going on

I think it’s away attendances which might be hit harder, unless you go via public transport.

All of a sudden those journeys 2/3 hours away could cost double in petrol than they did last season - unless you’ve got 4/5 of you going it’s a decent whack.

To be fair. From where I sit in the lower kop, I thought the Hartlepool fans were just about the noisiest I heard all season. They sang all game and were noisier than us on the night for sure

not sure how many season tickets we have sold yet - but the club has sent an e-mail out today thanking everyone that has got one so far - and confirming we've already sold more than we did last season.
i'd think apart from possibly some of the 4 relegated teams from L1 that most teams will get an increase in sales.

Don't think we'd won away at that point either, 700 on a Tuesday night, would've been double if not more on a Saturday.

Any chance of a larger allocation at yours next season? Do they plan to fix the broken seats etc?

Having checked our opening away fixtures (Sat), we have Barrow, Hartlepool, Mansfield, Harrogate, Salford, Grimsby and Sutton. All of which you would expect us to sell out with relative ease. I think only Grimsby and Mansfield can allocate 1,700-1,800 - which is still fairly low.

Gonna be a nightmare to get tickets. Might have to attend all of the remaining friendlies to ensure my loyalty points give me the best possible chance.

We were always going to get a good increase on last season, but the extraordinary way we got promotion seems to have created our Lincoln moment and we've had a major step change in numbers. Is there any club experiencing a decrease at all? Even Scunthorpe have had a small increase I believe; although they still can't afford to offer a contract to James Mckeown, who lives in Grimsby and is just waiting for the call, if he'd been with them at the end of last season Northampton would now be a League 1 club...

No idea mate, they said it was all going to be fixed for the new season and back to full capacity, which is only 1,000 seats, not great by any stretch but rarely sold out by anyone other than yourselves, Carlisle and mostly likely Grimsby again.

Allegedly doing work to the damaged seats in the rink end and replacing the seats in the mill house stand before the season starts. Who knows whether that actually happens.

You’d be better going on the roof than down their, that bottom tier is the pits.

As WilsdenBantam says, the bottom tier is dogshite. Nevertheless, it must be something the club is considering - even if only for a hand full of clubs might actually require it.

Possibly yourselves, Tranmere, Stockport, Doncaster and Grimsby. An additional £70k-£100k maybe? Deduct the cost for additional resources, policing and VAT; I suppose there’s an argument to be had whether it’s actually financially viable after all.
