9,000, big wow!

I tend to agree, but 8 goals from the wing last season for Fleetwood, a midtable outfit isn't too shabby! If he replicates that goal return next season, I think we'll be happy.

Accordingly to Fleetwood fans, he was on 5,000 per week at Blackburn, and they couldn't afford his wages. There must be something about him to justify them wages for such a young(ish) lad.

Take a look at our owners and who was manager when he signed a new deal...

Fair play Bradford, we wouldn't sell that many even at that price.

Imagine how competitive Bradford would be if they didn't give their season tickets away so cheaply.

Seriously, it's the stupidest fucking initiative in football. Why do people applaud it?

But Bradford will have 20k supporting them at every home game, significantly more than every other club in this league(excluding SUFC of course).

If they didn't give them away so cheaply they wouldn't sell AS many.

They'd sell enough I'm sure at £300 to make it significantly worth their while. Are Bradford fans all just skint or something? I honestly don't get it. If it were my club if be fuming we weren't using a fairly big fanbase to our advantage.

The fan base wouldn't be as big. Having cheap tickets over years maintains positivity and a sustainable fan base.

Couldn't give a shit. Ours works out at £13.70 a game...I'd call that affordable.

More fans in the ground = more money spent in the club shop, more money spent on food + drink and a more hostile atmosphere for an opposing team to play against. Don't see why you wouldn't have cheaper tickets really.

Well done Bradford

Most actually wanted an increase in prices for this season, but strangely, they were reduced.

The initial target of 15,000 was believed to be a 'breakeven' figure - but to reach that figure and sell almost 3,000 on top of that, it's been remarkable IMO.

I can't wait for the Shrewsbury fixture.

and look at your attendances compared..

Not the point, we wouldn't sell thousands more if we lowered the prices. Our attendances only flourish with success, previous pricing initiatives haven't worked.

Bradford have a big enough fanbase to charge more and financially be far more competitive and choose not to, I find that completely baffling.

It's quite ironic you mic take FA Cup wins being a guidance to club size, because when I had this debate with you, you wanked yourself silly over Coventry's most incredible 1987 FA Cup win.

Anyway - don't respond to that, otherwise you'd be breaking your promise if not posting in this thread.

So Wanderers who won the FA Cup 6 times are a bigger club than Bristol City if every FA cup has the same prestige?

Theyve sold nearly 18k season tickets. Any sort of success on the pitch for example a promotion then they could double the prices and 90% of people will renew. You probably moan that you pay too much to watch football then your slagging a club off for charging very good prices get a fucking grip.

And well done Bradford City that is a terrific number, a long way away from the 2,000 crowds. Massive turnaround.

Wanderers no longer exist. And oh? What happened to this?

Old Entonians still exist, they won the FA cup twice and were finalists 6 times. Are they a bigger club than Bristol City considering Bristol City have never won the FA cup and never been in the final?
