Time is a unit of measurement , therefore time travel cannot be possible .
Maybe in Hartlepool where time has travelled forwards since 1876, but Ronnie Moore has brought Rakish in to change all of that. Rakish will transform Hartlepool into a 21st century town in no time at all.

Because even when you're from the future, there's always that fear that someone or something can change the past.

plus, if you're from the future, you'd 100% try and change it which would probably have an adverse effect, which would then change the future. Makes you think.

I would hope someone with the ability to time travel would have more important priorities than worrying about Carlisle being relegated... maybe they would instead make sure that Nahki Wells doesn't leave us on a free?

We've signed one player more than Cambridge, the same number of players as Portsmouth, and one less than Notts County so far.

Doesn't really mean much, Luton have around 30 players to Cambridge 20, Portsmouth 23, Notts County 24.
Strange accusation from a Bristol rover supporter when they currently have the 4th largest squad in the division at 26.

I assumed he was referring to an influx of new players rather than a large squad, it's often held by many people that signing too many new players too quickly can lead to poor performances (personally I'm not sure about it, an influx of new players generally means you were crap the previous season).

Our current numbers are meaningless really. We actually have 33 full time pros on the books currently I believe, but that includes five first or second year pros who won't get near the first team squad this season in all probability. Another five of them are transfer listed and will leave either permanently or on loan, and I suspect at least two of the ones who aren't listed will be gone too. Reckon by August our actual first team squad will be in the 23-25 range.

The settled squad thing is a bit of a myth down here, most teams change a lot in the summer. Last time we were in L2, most of the teams who did well did so off putting together an entirely new team.

My biggest concern for Luton would be Still, not an expert but I see him as quite an inflexible manager. Think they could be quite predictable.

Yep. Shrewsbury signed no fewer than 17 players last summer and they did alright! Bury signed 10, I guess you could use them to support either argument as they started poorly but came good after Christmas.

Your being a tad disingenuous there . We've got 18 senior pros with the rest made up of first year pros from our youth team , many of which I'd imagine will go out on loan .

Not at all as it's true for all the figures I quoted. We have 17 senior pros and 8 promoted from the under 18s. Ours wont go on loan, they will play in the dev squad, Mddx senior cup and probably the Johnstones Paint trophy.

Well he's been promoted from this division before, against the odds, and only has about 8 promotions in his career.

If we had signed non league cloggers maybe, but these are quality players we've signed.

I think the best way is to sign the best players from the conference, of course mixed with a couple of experienced players.

I really like Luton, great history and superb fans, i hope when we meet we are both doing well, will be a cracking atmosphere!

We tried that last season - look at the players we've let go this summer.

That's easy, it will still be Tisdale.
I'll have a stab at this, as still haven't much of a clue about our National League opponents.

Your performance last season suggests you lot don't know much more about League 2 opponents either.
