3. Keith Curle will the first manager sacked.

We've been the first team in the country to sack their manager for the last two seasons now, so predicting a third can't be considered too controversial.

Not sure it will happen a third time myself though, I can just see that a lot of people would expect it to happen.

I would predict that we will have the highest combined goals for / goals against and fewest number of draws... also that we'll probably concede over 70 goals.

Curle won't be the first sacked this season, I don't think our board would dare be the first team to sack their manager for a third season running even if we were bottom of the league. Quite a few fans - even those who don't like Curle - have said that they'd like to see a consistent team and manager for a while instead of everything being up in the air by early September again so expect him to get a couple of months at least.

I don't really know enough about this division having been out of it for four years to post a prediction, but I'm very worried for York, I think the locals share the same pessimism also. Oliver, Hyde and Sinclair aren't going to score a great deal of goals, and I'm not sure their defence is good enough to keep them out on an even keel to this.

Would be a shame to see them drop out again before their new stadium comes.

Pretty much 75% guesswork. Think Pompey will win it with the signings they've made some good signings and Cook is an excellent manager as he proved at Chesterfield. Oxford have impressed me most with the signings they have made and I fancy them to do well and Plymouth, They are always up there. Luton and Cambridge have both done some good business and I fancy them both to make the Play Offs, Northampton to carry on from there strong finish last season and Orient despite being in abit of a mess have some players like Cox who really shouldn't be playing at this level.

Think Notts will be slow starters with all the new signings they've made but I expect them to finish strongly and make a challenge for the Play offs. Hope Wycombe do alright and don't fall back into the bottom half or they may regret giving Ainsworth a 5 year deal! Think they will flirt with the Play offs this season though.

We look much much better than last season, We have dropped the long ball stuff we have become very well known for and I think we will surprise a few this season, Judging by this thread anyway. Don't think Murray's inexperience will be an issue.

I know friendlies are not the perfect indicator of how teams will perform in the league, and I'm not a League 2 expert, but my team, Woking, have played 3 teams from L2 this pre season, and I would say that Leyton Orient will be up there in the top 3 for most of the season, as they are surprisingly well organised and I think will hit the ground running. Portsmouth will be somewhere around the play offs, and Oxford somewhere around mid table. Good luck to all of your teams, and maybe, with some luck and hard grind, we might see most of you next year...smiles.
