seems there's a fair few who think Luton's in with a shout,
I'll wait and see before the champagne comes out.
the preseason expectations always kick us in the arse,
beating minnows 9 0 is no true indicator of class.
two steps forward and three steps back
managers coming in and then getting the sack.
no doubt our loyal 8000 Luton fans
are checking where the last game is before making plans
to hopefully be a part of celebrating a return to league one
I at least hope we don't embarrass ourselves before the season is done.

Why do quite a few people think Colchester will finish top 7?

They have been a dire club for the last few seasons now and have not made any decent signings, they're certainly not a club with any ambitions.

I'm not sure how we'll do now, at first I thought we'd be looking at the top 7 at least especially after signing Adams and Devitt, but we are still bare in some positions like having only 1 goalkeeper for example and just 1 proper right back. Only 2 weeks to go, he really needs to get these areas covered, we could do with another forward too.

I don't think we'll finish anywhere below 12th.

It'll take a minor miracle for Bristol to win that, unless they've made wholesale changes from last season I really think that match will truly show how much of a better squad Cheltenham have. Expect double figures on Cheltenham's end.

Probably because you just missed out on the play offs last season and people still refuse to put the likes of little Accrington up there even though they just missed out on automatic promotion.

Me too - I'm expecting a very competitive league this year. I'm reasonably confident which teams will be top half or bottom half but the rest is pure guess work.

Anticipate a tougher division this season but think we are stronger than last year, which wouldn't be too difficult I know. Last season was the first time we have really struggled since our BSS days some 6 years ago. Lots happened off the pitch in past 12 months so a season of mid-table mediocrity would be ace. You'll all be pleased to know that our pitch has been dug up and relaid - no doubt we will be playing the ball to Parkin's feet on our super smooth carpet. Here goes ...

Agree! With experienced League Two performers our squad looks infinitely stronger than Butcher's this time last year (admittedly not saying much!). Looking towards lower mid table.
