It won't get worse next year because 2 ex league teams will make it back next season, and one of the teams coming down here will be Scunthorpe who will be lucky to finish top half in the National League 22/23.
Just thought I'd pop back here to slum it, and here you are the Donald Trump of football forums, still piping up about league stuff, know your place

Nailed on that Boreham Wood and Solihull get promoted next season.

You League 2 lot have got pretty lucky really, got rid of the inbred moronic Bolton bell-ends and got Hartlepool fans back who are some of the best on the forum.
I'm not jealous, honestly..... :(

Yeah but you get the AFC Halifax fan and I just realised that's probably not helping.

I must say Hartlepool and Torquay at the start of that shootout were taking this brotherhood thing a little too far not wanting to score against the other. Either way great to see Hartlepool are back where they belong.

I can't believe we're back to be honest, I'm just lost for words, I'll post more when I can get my head straight. Just stunned. The way we did it as well. It means so much being back here it really does.

Welcome home Hartlepools, our Brothers in Relegation! Took you twice as long to come back because you’re twice as tinpot as us, but many congratulations all the same. Haway!

I was really torn between the 2, torquay is much further away but is lovely for a weekend, hartlepool is much closer but well er,.

Felt for torquay, absolutely nothing wrong with both their goals disallowed, both should have stood, when it went to ET i thought torquay would do it as hartlepool looked dead but clung on.

The good news is that we’ve another northern club, and i actually know hartlepool rather than this mystery side of sutton.

Pretty much. They’ve tried to entice fans in by making the groups even more regionalised since you were last here but pretty much no-one bothers with it, £10k for the winner of each group stage but as our chairman noted last season you’re still running the game at a loss.

One thing it does have going for it is that it’s not that bloody FA trophy shite you’ll avoid now,

It isn't. It's the same sad, sad person.
I know but you have to tell others who might be new to his stupidity. There is somebody similar on one of the Tranmere forums who has at least 4 different accounts but the writing style stays the same.

FA Trophy >>>>>> EFL Trophy

Historic competition, the successor to the old FA Amateur Cup I think? Plus no B teams or group stages or pointless penalty shoot outs in it. Would rather play in that then the Papa Johns bollocks.

Shame the EFL have fucked over their own competition, used to be decent enough remember our 1 time in it before the b team shite when we qualified and played Brighton who put out a strong team, felt like a proper cup game.

yeah the Trophy is a better (more prestigious) competition;- we won it in 1990 beating Leek 3-0 and in 2010 beating Satanage 2-1 AET and denying them the Conference and FA Trophy double. Watching your team get to and win at Wembley is a big thing when your team hasn't been there before (or hasn't been for ages).

you might laugh - but in the past 3-4 years we have had several players on loan from Blackburn's U-23 side and signed all of them permanently;- Lewis Hardcastle (now retired), Tom White and Matty Platt.

Pools will probably get lumbered with Leeds U23's (I think they actually played an U-21 side)
