Torquay 4 Notts County 2 AET in the 1st semi-final
That Torquay weekender is getting closer for all of us, that is unless you play them mid-week of course:)

Explain your working. It's motorway all the way and only 90 minutes from Birmingham. Its hardly Siberia.

trips to Yeovil are to blame, I think getting to the South Pole was easier.

getting any teams down that M5 at the wrong time of year left you facing 40,000 caravans and and numerous roadworks or accidents delays and extra hours on the road.

The three likely bigger spending clubs out so from a competitive point of view it’s probably not a bad outcome

Correct, but for those of us now slumming it in
the Conference next season could be brutal.

corrected it for you;-
Next season will be brutal - it's probably the most ex-EFL teams in the National League ever - and it's going to get worse with each passing year.

At last get to find out who else will be joining us from the Conference today. Only really paid much attention to that division towards the backend of the season but just based on the very limited stuff have seen I have to edge towards Hartlepool winning. Two impressive efforts in very different ways in these playoffs from them.

Mad ain’t it. The league gets completed today and the fixtures for the new season are out on Thursday! The team that does win you’d think would have a much reduced pre season compared to the rest of our clubs as well.

Happy with either team but if I had to pick one then I’m leaning towards Hartlepool as well. Would like to see Dave Challinor have success in the playoffs and bring his side to Prenton Park next season.

I don’t mind either team, though given Torquay finished higher in the league, it would be fairer for them to go up. Though neither life nor football are fair. I’d like to see Dave Challinor in charge of Rovers someday.

How long does it take to work out a few fixtures? Four days should be plenty.

I saw pictures of Hartlepool fans queuing round the block for tickets. Has the internet not reached there yet?

In person and telephone sales only whilst a pain in the arse it meant only Pools fans got Pools tickets, Torquay done online sales and it lead to Pools fans getting tickets for their end today.

Torquay had a goal incorrectly ruled out. Disgraceful reffing.

Congrats to the Pools fans. What a game that was.

Know they always say about the Championship playoff being high stakes but for me this is even more with a place in the league at stake.

Well done Hartlepool - We both went down together after being run into the ground by our old owners, so to see you bounce back is pleasing to see. I also actually quite enjoy Hartlepool as a day out.

You also successfully escaped the troll at the bottom of the well in B2TF :p

What a game that was, what drama. Well done Pools. Held on to the end.

Not sure Torquay weren't a bit hard done by with those disallowed goals, but such is life.

Hoping for a trip up to Victoria Park.

It won't get worse next year because 2 ex league teams will make it back next season, and one of the teams coming down here will be Scunthorpe who will be lucky to finish top half in the National League 22/23.

With Hartlepool's promotion I wonder if Carver/Redfox will be dusting off his keyboard.
