Bristol Rovers, Swindon, Northampton and Rochdale replace Cambridge, Cheltenham, Bolton and Tranmere.
If Morecambe beat Bolton tomorrow, Morecambe instead of Tranmere.

Torquay and Stockport replace Grimsby and Southend
Do you mind trying to bring this thread back on topic. We’re currently debating gravy on chips and where does the best pies.

Utter sacrilege. The answer to the question, “Where can you find the best food served at a football ground” is always Kidderminster.
I cant remember the last time I was at Kiddie. I didn't go when we won the conference....maybe 2007/8 season? Can't remember the food at all...can't remember if I ate any even.

I can remember those pies at Morecambe. Bloody gorgeous.

Can you actually get 'sweet chilli sauce' as an option in a chippy?

Also what does Gipping mean?
I have a bottle in my fridge at all times...so only of any use if I buy fish and chips and take them home.

Gipping means disgusting or revolting...possibly something that would make you want to puke.

Why would you drown the taste of fish and chips with gravy? Unless they aren't any good of course.
The best fish and chips in the country last year were in Exmouth, Devon. Just saying...

I'm not a gravy on chips man (though I do love chips with cottage pie and gravy). But a shit ton of salt and vinegar is a must.

Mushy peas can get in the bin, and only one chippy I've been to (Charles in Cheltenham) does a curry sauce I actually like.

Chips should be served with salt and vinegar. Nothing else is needed. Take your fancy Northern ways and condiments and poke 'em!
There seems to be a bit of a theme developing, less interest in gravy on your chips if you are from the south or west of the country...have to nail my colours to the mast here, I have spent roughly the same amount of time in both so I have a foot in both camps...so to speak!

Oh and as for the food at Aggborough, the portions were generous...never really certain what was in the soup but it was good...if I could wave a magic wand and bring a team back into the Football League it would probably be Kidderminster, for the food alone!

Our trip there on Boxing Day in 2015 was my last away game (to date). I suppose subconsciously I may be boycotting away games until I get decent food in a ground again!

Worth a mention for anyone with a fetish for pies taking a pre match walk in Barrow town centre is an award winning pie shop called Deli.sh. Well worth seeking out.

So hows the standards in L2 been this year?

Not sure whether its the lack of fans or something else because of Covid, but overall L1 has been poor this year.

We'll fit right in then.

Tbh, we've won 12 league games since December 2019 so I'm (hopefully) just looked forward to being competitive again.

Since Coughlan left, it's just been an absolute sh*t show.

Well Cheltenham are 2nd and Bolton are 3rd, and we took 4 points from both of them, so make of that what you will.

Barrow took 6 off us as well.

We only lost to the shit teams, like Grimsby, Barrow and Bolton.

YouTube must know what is really important to me at the moment, fish and chips, and this popped up in my recommendations this morning:

Review of a fish and chip take-away near to Leeds...and not a drop of gravy anywhere close!

Welcome Rovers, reckon they should be strong contenders to bounce back next year. Can well imagine though Barton will be on a short leash next year if things don't go well.

So to date, it appears we've the following -

Port Vale
Oldham
Stevenage
Harrogate
Mansfield
Walsall

We can add as and when teams join (either against their will or in sure delight!) or if anyone has been missed.

(Scunthorpe Colchester and Barrow are as good as safe, but can still go down at present).

From league 1 -
View attachment 14237

Realistically between these 6 - Shrewsbury are on 50 but have 1 or 2 games in hand.

Bristol Rovers and Swindon look all but down for those down south, with it also looking tough for Rochdale and Northampton.

From the conference -

View attachment 14238

well, as you'd expect from the conference theres games in hand all over the place, and as many as 12 games left for Notts County (I believe it's now a 44 game season). **EDITED - 42 game season**

Though it looks like automatic will be between 1 of the top 3 sides.

Any preference on who you'd like next season?

was going to add them but i can’t quote myself! haha
