Notts win 4-2 and 2-2 draw.
Also had both teams to have player sent off.
Ardley really hated that 4-0 defeat and had to be very careful not to lay into the players in the post match.

Apparently AH and NA had an unplanned meeting yesterday more than likely to discuss January transfer window.

We need a quick left back, another central defender, a tackling midfielder and a tough target man.
There are at least 7 players who would be going out and I wouldn't be dissapointed if we had to cash in on one of the main summer signings to get our targets in.

Failure to win Boxing Day and I don't think we have enough to get out of this. A win for Macc and I can see them climbing out of it and pushing on.

We're not good enough in front of goal to ever be relied on for BTTS.

0-0 is the most likely score with our current team. Very solid at the back but need a miracle if were ever going to score. If we could scrape a win it would not only give us a big boost but it would also be a bit of a killer for Notts.

Probably be a repeat of the home game; destined for 0-0 with a horrendous mistake leading to a goal.

It won’t be 0-0 of that I am sure . I am usually happy to predict the score for Notts games , but I flat out refuse for this game.

We will gift you at least 2-3 clear cut chances even if you don't go forward well yourself we will oblige.

We have been very good going forward but against Grimsby we failed on 4-5 good opportunities.
There so much pressure on the attack to score because the defence is so weak its going to take its toll on them.

Nah I think it'll be a decent game to be honest. Hence my wild bets!

Well, here it is, we could easily start 2019 bottom of the league or possibly outside the relegation spaces, either way it's a massive game for both clubs.
Not sure what changes Ardley will make for us as the team at Grimsby was about as strong as we can be bar a couple of injuries.
Macclesfield were unlucky to lose against us in October, there really wasn't much in it , we actually defended pretty well and it was a penalty so just about deserved it but we've not been able to build from that week where we won three of our four matches all season.
I can't bring myself to predict a home defeat, that's the supporter in me but no r would I be remotely surprised.

From somewhere we need to find some energy and guts and compete man to man for the full ninety minutes.

What's car parking like around the ground guys? Not been to Meadow Lane since the night we drew 1-1 in Division 1 nearly 20 years ago.

If you're there for 1.30-2 you'll probably be able to park very close if you don't mind paying the parking fee. If you don't mind a 5 min walk, drive down Meadow Lane to a Jet garage and park down the side streets at the back.
Otherwise there's plenty of parking in the Meadows less than ten minutes it's a away.
