Seriously who gives a Fuck? So if we knocked the whole thing down and started again that's a revamp?

Great I hope the fact we have a revamped stadium and not a newly built (well 2 and half stands are) stadium doesn't affect our chances of getting a decent manager.

What with it being a massive factor and that......

True but it's not a new stadium and being honest I doubt stadium is a factor for many managers. Barring Lee Johnson

Yes it would.

You've learnt something new today.

I normally find SERAWA posts tiresome and boring but saying Rotherham and MK are more of an attractive proposition than us genuinely made me chuckle. Bless.

You're not going to improve turnover that much to be honest. You had 8m turnover on the back of a great season last year. To compete that has to at least double.

They've already sold out the 20 corporate boxes which are 72 grand a pop for next season, then you've got all the revenue from the new bars, concourses (which are rammed before matches this season) being able to sell more tickets, the concerts and off the field stuff that's taking place in the summer etc - I imagine it'll amount to close to that. Not to forget that Lansdown can pump money into the club via Bristol Sport, which is basically the sole purpose of it.

You don't the likes of Mkat Dons and Rotherham are much more attractive pulls for managers and players alike, let that sink it.

Only ever been on one other forum, which got shut down.

This forum would be as boring as ever without me, just cos i don't join in group wanking sessions of a has been club, infact you never have been anything.
For reasoning would anyone want to join Rotherham over us? I've just stumbled across the home attendances this season, are you not embarrassed that you're not even selling out your new stadium and have worse attendances than MK Dons?

I just looked it up as I did the same calculation, it's 72k for two seasons, but they've all sold out.

Helped Brighton to be fair, can't have imagined them attracting the same managers and signings back at the Withdean.

Dunno ask the dozens of players who sign for us as oppose to the very few that sign for you.

Well for one it's not a new stadium and I'd fully expect the population of Milton Keynes to support their club in the Championship, afterall Milton Keynes has double the population of Rotherham not to mention it being the first time they've played as high as this so, no I'm not.

Much as I hate to admit it I've got to agree with my cider-drinking members here. If there's a choice to be made for footballing reasons, whether for a manager or player, Bristol City would win hands down in 90% of cases in a 3 way choice.

'Win hands down' 'in 90% of cases', have a word with yourself.

Cloggers from Gillingham, Wallsall and Bolton don't want to sign for em.

I was referring to the choice between Rovrum, Franchise and BCFC. You've got to ask yourself who is most likely to be progressive over, say, 3-5 years. MK have no history, are generally disliked and can't raise a decent crowd.

Rovrum built a new stadium but showed their aspirations by building such a small one.

BCFC will soon have a 27,000 capacity stadium are owned by some geezer with more money than a cow's got c***

For one transfer window, what a load of utter nonsense.

If we're serious about going PL in the next few years we aren't going to be signing trash like Greg Halford and Andrew Shinnie.

You have ambitions of staying up, we have ambitions of going up in years to come. Out of interest, how many players did you get in last month?

We did the same with the Clough deal, we set him a deadline and he didn't meet it - so the point still stands in fairness.

Two transfer windows.

You won't get into the Premier League in the next 10 years or probably ever.

We signed 7;

Shay Facey from Man City.
Alex Cairns from Chesterfield.
Chris Dawson from Leeds.
Aimen Belaid from Levski Sofia.
Lucciano Becchio from some Argentinian side.
Chris Burke from Forest.
Andrew Shinnie from Birmingham.

That's called noticing your weakness' and doing something about em.

Bloody Becchio, you'd kill for a player of that quality wunt you.

We signed 5. Gladwin, Pearce, Tomlin, O'Donnell and Golbourne - all of whom (maybe barring Gladwin) would get in your side.

That's a crazy forecast, and a stupid thing so say but I suppose we've come to expect nowt less from you.

Becchio would have been alright 5 or 6 years ago to be fair. There's a reason he went to the third smallest club in the Championship when he was available to everyone else.

O'Donnell or Camp? Camp.
Golbourne or Mattock? Mattock.
Pearce or Broadfoot/Belaid? Belaid anyday of the week and be stupid to not pick Broadfoot on current form.
Tomlin or Grant Ward? Grant ward.

Not even going to bother comparing Gladwin.

Becchio came as he knew Redfearn and had unfinished business with us, simple.
