Only reason I'm going to this is the cheap coach travel, been to Swindon once before so feel like I don't need to go again. Just feel like we are going to lose this and it's gonna be right boring.

Our hopes have received a major blow...

Ben Reeves "hopefully back for the end of the season" according to Robbo.

There didn't look like any issue after playing 70 or so minutes for Northern Ireland on Friday. Surprising news on Saturday that he'd come home with a calf complaint, and now confirmed to be a bit more serious than first thought.

I guess having the view of someone else's, dare I say it, better medical staff, was what brought it to light.

Huge setback as he was just starting to get back to his best (after several lay offs this season) and our best player in the no'10 role.

FFS we have such bad luck with injuries. We get one key player back and lose another. This is why WABLO.

I did mean 3 reds for each side but if the ref wants to carry on with MK playing with 5 men that would be pretty amusing. As long as you don't win :2thumb:

It seems to be looking at their forum! and dont forget the flags that they want to scare us with to make an intimidating atmosphere for the Franchise! :brill::sb:

I think the flags and stuff are for the benefit of the Sky cameras, not you.

Seeing it'll only be one man and his plastic dog coming from Franchise it don't really matter much.

If a team has to win this one then i'd prefer it to be MK Dons, purely because I think they're more likely to drop a bollock and potentially lose two in a row at some stage.

Please tell me you're bringing more than that. I could only get tickets in the section next to your lot - I'll bring a flask and tartan rug to make you feel at home!

On a bit more serious note, get yerself in The Merlin before the game - I may buy you a pint!

It doesn't surprise me one bit that if animals are allowed in anywhere, it's at the CG. :gr:

I would have taken you up on that. Unfortunately I will be in Brighton trying to find a pub that will have this game on and not Arsenal - Liverpool.

I'm not holding out much hope.

Oh great, the horrifically hopeless Paul Tierney is the ref on Saturday.

Coupled with Keith Stroud being appointed 4th official, we have 2 of Satan's henchmen in charge of this game.

Last time I went to Swindon, me and 2 mates got approached by 15 Swindon 'yoof' asking if we 'want it'. I gratefully declined.

Oh God. Free kick city then. Probs a red card and a pen thrown in too.

Much as I usually disapprove of it, this would be one match I'd find thoroughly entertaining if some of our fans let off several pyro right in the middle of Swindon trying to do something to grab the camera's attention.
