TBH, there would be an 11 page thread no matter who were playing Saturday if the importance of the game was the same.

Surely, the main point of forums is baiting the opposition - most of which is fairly good natured, despite some of the neanderthal content at times - and I'm as guilty as others in that!

See, this is why I prefer posting here than on club forums because the posters from all clubs (even AFC Wimbledon towards us) are the more relaxed, friendly type who you can actually have a debate about football with...

...not that I actually use that option very often but it is nice to have it rather than conversations like:

Found a bar by the sea in Turkey to watch both games (arsenal v Liverpool) on at the same time ish on Saturday but luckily they have a number of TVs.

I think there are some decent posters from both clubs on this thread to be honest. Certainly yourself, Willo and inspector gadget seem decent guys who want a football chat.

No offence to the sensible City fans, but there are some plebs who post here that are going to get carried away on the back of what happened in the game at the CG. And Indian Dan has his moments also!
