A guid dram
There might still be one or two who will use google but I think the vast majority of players will take it for the bit of fun that it is and not use it. It'll still work, lets try it again folks?

This although the ban thing is a tad extreme. A "Cheat" title might be more entertaining ;)

I didn't mean ban them from the forum, just from forum games. I know from experience how much work making and running a forum game can be, and I'll be fucked if I'm going to let anybody like that take part in anything that takes that much effort to put together.

Cardsfan hit the nail on the head... we simply thought we were using a great tactic that anybody smart would be using, then others followed suit. I think that now that it's been established that google is not to be used, we should feel safe in moving forwards.

should've gone without saying though, really. I mean, if you were actually on a game-show, they'd not allow you to use google... why should this be any different? Sure it's different in that it's on a forum and so you have access to the internet (and can't be monitored) but we're all adults here, all it takes is a little bit of self-control and integrity.

edit - well I guess some of you might be teenagers but the point still stands...

I just assumed it was a given that people would use the internet. Not even as "cheating", but just because it was right there and made sense. The same way people PM'ed one another with the word search to trade answers. PM's were going out before it was okayed in the thread, same as in Survivor.

Though as I've said, my bad, it looks like I was well off of the mark there.

Related topic, on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" these days do you reckon pretty much all of the phone-a-friends are frantically googling the answers as they are called?

I often wonder that. I remember as a kid, before I knew what the internet was, the idea was always that you'd be sat there with a bunch of encyclopedias and shit ready to answer anything thrown at you.

We need to find Redka and bring him back. Who knows how many exciting games of dominoes we've missed out on hearing about.

Also, as much as the first two rounds were interesting in their own ways, I must admit I was giggling along to virtually all of it so the fun is still there even in strife Rammy.

Just to confirm J5's religious beliefs on last night's events and tonight's upcoming game...

The holy spirit means the invisible power of Jehovah, holy because he is holy. This power of Jehovah operated upon the minds of HONEST MEN, who loved and who were devoted to RIGHTEOUSNESS. Directing them through the writings of the Bible.

Right, I'm good for half 7. Images are back, but now appear sepia-ised (apart from the first two where it's description only).

The scores start from zero, but we now have 7 items rather than 10 which makes it more likely we may have to go to the tiebreak. Google is strictly prohibited.

As with yesterday, discussions and bids still take place in the PM so not to have teams placing bids slightly lower than another team.

Answer the door. The time to discuss our lord and his pricing of his creations is at hand.

But no, seriously, I almost don't want us to get this first one right because of how dodgy it'll look if we do :fl::gmc:

The three products from yesterday were prices from November, hence why the Chair on Play.com was no longer available. These next seven are all from February 1st, but prices may still differ to the link I provide.

Item #1
This indoor water feature will simply astound you. Watch as the water defies gravity, and travels upwards! WHAAATTTTTT???? The feature is about as tall as two tv remotes, and the width of a DVD case (LOL). It features a backlight, and you can alter the size of the water droplets with the easy to use controls.

Has the forum gone really slow for everyone else, or is it just me? Took ages to refresh the PMs!
