Decent enough for us with Ferriby and Nuneaton dropping points at home. We're matching Ferriby win for win, slip for slip since Xmas though- would be nice to turn it round and pass them

Great win yesterday, sad to see Andy Bond go to Crawley but we certainly didn't miss him yesterday!
5 in 5 for connerton and 4 wins out of 5!

Got to say I was fairly impressed by Corby yesterday. What they lacked in technically they more than made up for in battling qualities and just general grit and determination. Cant see they going down

Played well today, I think both teams cancelled each other out really, second half we were the better side but like Stocky says we are missing something upfront, Colley and Dyson did out wide but Odejayi had a poor game and is clearly not match fit and Gonzales didn't do much when he came on either. We look brilliant defensively, O'Hanlon and Thorniley are rock solid.

I'll be very surprised if we don't finish in the top 5.

We're going up this year. I've stuck another tenner on us to win it, so £25 altogether.

We have the best squad, the only reason we're not top is because Everton's u21 striker got injured.

We were shite in the first half yesterday, we flicked a switch and within 20 mins of the second half the game was won.

Also, we haven't had a fully fit squad to choose from all season.

Massive game next week against Solihull.

Good one dickhead.

BUFC clung on to a nervy but very useful 2-1 win at Bradford. Now picking my fingernails up off the floor. Up to 4th and 3 points up on Nuneaton

FT Fylde 0-1 Alfreton (Bradley 40)

Not there so wont go in to details. Ground it out in a poor game with few chances for either side. Matt Duke came up with another world class save to keeper Fylde out in the final minute. The home side hit the woodwork a couple of times in the first half but toiled really. Thats 5 consective away wins now and 13 Unbeaten. Just a shame we probably wont make the play-offs.

Stalybridge 5-5 Telford. In Telfords position nothing but a win will do when you score 5.
They were 5-2 down, I'm sure they won't be too disappointed.

Another clean sheet and another win for County despite not playing well.

Ah ok. Its a point gained then! I heard your keeper had a blinder!
I wasn't there (spend the majority of my Saturdays in a radio studio now) but yeah Ian Ormson saved a penalty and picked up the MOM award despite our deep lying striker John Marsden scoring two.
Signed a new contract prior to the game much to the dismay of our fanbase but Gannon gave him an extended run in the team when he was 17 and has always rated him.

Boston 1-1 Worcester.
Not a particularly eventful game, we found ourselves ahead with Jay Rollins but bang on half time they got a wildly deflected goal and neither side did enough in the 2nd half to win it- Worcester coming closest at the end after they'd had a man sent off through a double save by Speiss from a free kick.
Also we made headlines for the wrong reasons as the liner apparently noted one of our fans racially abusing a couple of their players.

Great win yesterday for us, good to see keil O'Brien back from bury on loan. Shame he picked up a knock though don't know how serious it is. He looked really solid.

Stalebread Celtic 5 - 5 Telford United. Absolute bonkers game, for pure entertainment value, well worth the £12.00. The pies are good as well.
Whilst pulling back a 5-2 deficet is all well and good, one point in our position isn't enough, we need wins. Tomorrow night we go to inform Alfreton, defeat there will surely be the first nail in our relegation coffin.

Don't think we're good enough to finish in the top half despite winning our last 2. We were lucky against brackley and were poor yesterday.

The formation doesn't work at all, it was a back four with Montrose holding, Morton on the right which worked, but ledsham wasn't on the left it was inside left, it was just so unbalanced, three strikers on the pitch with no security behind them didn't work at all. Hopefully it'll change when Rule is backed because I really liked the 4-3-3 against Gloucester.

Our squad is totally imbalanced for pretty much any formation but quite rightfully Gannon is saving the budget back for next season and just muddling through the best he can until then.

We could have gone 4-4-2, 4-3-3 has previously worked and 5-3-2 was an option, they had easily more possession and a better team would have won comfortably. I've never liked that formation anyway, having one player in the middle of midfield is absolutely ridiculous, I'm not saying that's what Gannon did, we basically had one winger and Ledsham looked like he didn't know where he was meant to be. But the back four is a lot better and Montrose is more disciplined in terms of his position.

We haven't got two decent wingers (you could argue we don't have one) so that rules out a standard 442, Roberts is too old to play as an effective wing back in a 532, In a 433 we are forcing at least one striker out wide where they are not comfortable.

Whatever we play it's far from perfect - I'm sure this will all be resolved in the summer.

Alfreton 2-3 Telford (Thanoj 57, Bradley 76) (Wilson 65,79 McCarthy 84)

Well what a night at the Impact Arena. For all the wrong reasons in the end! Well not the first half. Total Non Event with pretty much nothing happened. Any fan moaning about the lack of entertainment however at HT where not to be disappointed in the second half.

Andi Thanoj opened the scoring with a beauty off a free kick just before the hour. He seems to have gathered himself a cult following after being the subject of something on a Fifa Youtuber channel?! No me neither.

Anyway Telford responded soon after. They will very much like Corby. They were poor technically but battled and grafted really hard. Fortunate to get the win mind.

Josh Wilson levelled matters at 1-1 with 20 minutes to play as he was given far too much room in the box aftera few deflections.

With 14 minutes to go Man of the Match Dan Bradley popped up with the goal of the season for me. Cutting in from the left, beating a few defenders before smashing the ball home from all of 30 yards! Absolute beauty. We were then caught cold as the old cliche your most vurenable whn you have just scored game in to effect as Josh Wilson grabbed his and Telfords second with a bullet header to make it 2-2.

That wasnt the end of the breathless period as Sam Jones hit the post before the Telford keeper saved superbly from a close range Dan Bradley header. The Telford goal then continued to live a charmed life as 3 goal mouth scrambles were somehow cleared.

Connor McCarthy then picked the ball up the left went on a mazy solo run left the defence in his wake and found the bottom corner to finish off a remarkable turnaround.

Once again Telford rode their luck as Jordan and Bradley saw efforts blocked on the line in the closing minutes.

Absolutely gutted to lose the 14 game unbeaten run in those circumstances. To be 2-1 up at home to the bottom of the league with 14 to play is not play-off form. To makes matters worse other results went absolutely perfectly for us too! Dan Bradleystroke deserved better.

It easy to see where we have gone wrong though. Just 3 points from 21 against 21st,20th,17th and 18th in the league just isnt good enough.

On the plus side.. I won 28 quid in the 50-50 Draw! GET IN!

Comfortable 3-0 victory for us tonight and an excellent first half performance - Hednesford looked absolutely doomed on the basis of tonight.

Three goals from three different strikers in Anoruo, Brodie and even Odejayi when he came on. Inconsistent Menagh was on good form tonight and Roberts was back to his early season best.

The squad is looking stretched ahead of Saturday though with Connolly picking up an injury in the warm up tonight and Montrose now suspended for the next two matches.

Also, at Alfresco 2 - 3 Telford United.
I wouldn't argue with Darksith's match report. Two quality goals from a very decent home side, but we finally have a bit luck and quality now. Josh Wilson has been a god send since signing from Fylde last month. Plus the return of Connor McCarthy on loan from Southport, means we have a goal threat at last. I see light at the end of the tunnel, we may get out of this mess now!
Great to win at somewhere where our record hasn't been too good in recent seasons.

So Frank Sinclair is sacked at Hednesford after last nights defeat at Stockport.
Smacks of desperation from them. Think the appointment of Sinclair was doomed from the start.

Our game earlier in the season was Bernard McNally`a first game in Charge and the reverse fixture a week on Saturday could be the first in charge for Sinclair`s successor!

Seems to have tightened up a bit over the last handful of games.

Boston, North Ferriby and Fylde have all been indifferent over the last 4 or 5 games whereas Tamworth and Chorley have picked up more points. Probably still a bit of a big ask for the latter but makes it a bit more interesting.

Despite their recent improved form Telford still sit rock bottom, but it sounds as though their fighting qualities will see them through.I certainly hope so anyway.

How we all doing in this thread ;)

Telford I'd like to see you survive as well as Hednesford. Can BPA get relegated please as it's almost a waste of a fixture to try and play it.
