I am fairly sure these are our kits for this coming season, not been fully confirmed but fans were asked about them earlier this year. The shorts may be a different colour though. The club have came out and said the blue used in the home kit will not be that light thankfully, it will be the blue we normally use.

Here you go. Fairly 'meh' in my view. A bit boring , no discernible red, not one of those stylishly simple kits but just an overly plain one.

Keeper kits. Very Italian.

Away one is nice. Something different.

Home shorts should be white. All blue is not us.

Following on from valefan16's warning I can confirm that actually the Errea kits are more like two sizes different from the sizes we're used to. After trying on an XL and then an XXL, I had to get an XXXL.

When in the changing room I noted that the T-shirt I was wearing was actually only an L by Debenham's standards and still sat looser on me than the XXL I tried on.

I wonder if Errea plan to compensate Carlisle United for the sharp downturn in sales of pies and sausage rolls in the stadium.

New Crewe home kit. Very very plain, but I quite like it.

Really not much you can say about the home kit. Would have looked a lot classier with a round neck. V necks are very primark.

Crewe away one is decent, the Navy in the teasers appears very black there though!

Nice shade of green on the middle Scunthorpe kit, would be happy if ours was that style but swapping black in for the bits that are the gold colour...but don't think it will be. Still no idea when ours will be released, the only thing the club have said is that they will be radically different...which probably means they won't.

The shoot is terrible for Crewe’s away kit mind and causing a chuckle! He’s got no ankles they’ve disappeared and had clips visible in the shot so it looks less baggy that haven’t been erased!

I hope we win the league in the home kit rather than the away kit tbh.

Home kit is growing on me. The less is more thing I guess. But can't get my head around that away kit, it's a no from me.

Yeah, don't want to ruin the pictures with that away kit.

Not a bad effort, but needs a splash of red
Some of our fans for some reason believe red is a newfangled thing that has no place on our kits. We've worn red trim since our Division One season in 1974, so by my reckoning you'd have to be about 50 to have any recollection of Carlisle before red trim was part of our kit, and that's being generous. I reckon only fans in their sixties could genuinely remember red trim being a new addition to the kit, yet you get fans much younger still complaining that it 'isn't traditional'.

Crewe - I've said it before and I'll say it again - time to ditch FBT and get yourselves a proper kit maker boys. FFS, red and white aren't awkward colours to work with in footy kit designs so you could do a whole lot better than what you (they) have come up with in recent memory. The away strip is just awful.

Carlisle - Why for the love of Carver does your club ask the fans to vote on the new home kit and then disregard the results? There's one on the pic that Shoddy posted on here that looks kinda similar but it has red stripes running down the sides (middle row, the one on the right). Having said that, it's not a bad effort but very meh.

I like that shade of light green on the away strip, but imo that particular colour works much better with white rather than black imo.

Bradford's effort is just classy. No more needs to be said. Well done Bantams

Mansfield - very disappointing effort afaic. The fact that it's for two years makes it worse.

Home kits only table so far -

Top 7 - Bradford, Cambridge, Grimsby
Outside chance of play offs - Plymouth
Mid table - Carlisle, Cheltenham, Swindon
Lower mid - Mansfield, Oldham, Walsall
Bottom four - Crewe, Morecambe, L'Orient

Errea recycling our 16/17 kit template for Carlisle's new kit.

Errea seem to use us as a bit of a test club for kits, we always seem to be the first to get their new templates (e.g. Norwich had the same kit template for their 16/17 kit as we did for our 15/16 kit which was the first time it was used, and a few clubs used the 16/17 template we had last season).
