If we don't get 3rd - and I don't think we will - I'd actually like to finish 5th. I'd rather play an out of sorts Plymouth who would feel the weight of expectation after slidding down the table than an attacking Wimbledon side that sneak into 7th.

Pompey
Rovers
Plymouth
Wimbledon

Should we end up getting into the playoffs, I propose League Two be disbanded and reformed outside the Football League as the Football Conference.

It's honestly that bad as well. Embarrassing for us and for most other teams that we're still a game away from jumping into the top 7. Finish us off this weekend please League 2.

I don't think any Wimbledon fans feel the same despite us being only a few points(?) ahead of you. I think we've been a decent side this year. The stats show that Pompey have had less shots against them, and meanwhile we have had an extremely high number of shots at the other end.

We aren't even that much better than last season. Take where we are in the league now and imagine if Potts and Dempsey had stayed instead of us having Hery and Joyce. We'd be comfortably pushing for top 3. Oh well.

4 - 4 on Saturday and we'll both be out of it. We know we are anyway but enjoy the ride - that said, it's probably putting a few more :£ in the coffers if we can keep the hype up for Morecambe on Tuesday as well.

I think that is brilliant! GCSE's really have no baring on your life as long as you get 5. Don't tell your kids that though.

Despite the slip of an 'e' ...my academic life has been pretty good. Good job there wasn't a spelling GCSE then wasn't it?

What's that sound?

Oh yes.

Its the THIS LEAGUE MUST BE BAD IF WE ARE DOING WELL klaxon!!!

Let's take guesses at which clubs will be sounding the klaxon next year. I vote, all teams chasing the play offs.

Think it really is that bad though, our form has been mediocre at best since Christmas, we pick up the odd win here and there, lots of draws and then every few games a spineless defeat. We've been pretty depressing to watch and yet we never seem to fall out of contention completely for the playoffs.

Looking objectively this league has been shit this season, that's our point. We could easily be nearer relegation than play-offs having played as we have and probably couldn't have too many complaints, but such is the quality of the teams lower half we're somehow consistently getting points.

What I will concede is that we have two awful teams this year and one particularly good one. I think the mistake people always make is forgetting that it's far harder to get relegated (2 teams) than it is to get in the play offs (7). You have to be awful to get relegated. I know, I've seen us. When Carlisle got relegated they were hilariously bad for six full months. Luton had to be deducted 400 points just to get relegated.

Teams can lose plenty of games and still be in tenth. That's why it's mid table.

I think Mansfield will be the fans telling us that they really mean it when they say the league is awful next year.

Our hopes were fucked as soon as our senile owners decided to reject what was a very promising takeover of our club by a local businessman by the name of Andrew Lapping and a few other businessmen back in June of last year I think it was. Oh yes if they had took over then I'm sure that our behind the scenes running of the club would of joined the 21st century by now and we would be moving forward with young enthusiastic people in charge, but no someone decided to be a stubborn old c*** for whatever reason and not budge.

So to cover it up our owners then make up some bullshit story about a billionaire who wants to the buy the club instead who we are still yet to actually hear from for the last 10 fucking months, bravo!

The way our club is run behind the scenes is a complete farce, our shit managing director finally stepped down last summer only to be reappointed as a director of external affairs, whatever the fuck that is, so we still have no fucking managing director at the club and apparently the one who we were supposed to get if Lapping had took over was some miracle worker who once had got some lower league club all the way to the Premier League.

Makes me laugh seeing clubs like Burton Albion, Fleetwood and Accrington being run a million times better than your own club when they are much much smaller. What do our owners say to stuff like that? Nothing.
They don't even talk to the media, ever. They've got no fucking guts and just hide all the time, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if we were a non-league club as they would not have as much pressure on them, cowardly c***.

Makes no fucking sense, they obviously don't want the responsibility of running a football league club yet when someone promising and trustworthy wants to buy it they don't let it go.

So that's that then. Our fucking shit times go on..

Aren't Fleetwood just doing following the Crawley model, just 1/2 years behind?

They'll be back in League 2 soon enough - hardly being run effectively.
