Even we beat Salford! Couldn’t even breach our haemorrhaging back line
I keep missing the bits where Salford are actually good. They're managing to be well in the promotion race yet every time I catch something about them, including when we played them, they're actual garbage, just with a good keeper.

They’ve nicked our tactics.

What I’ve seen of them they are fairly solid, relatively boring and knock it about ok, but not overly creative or dangerous.

At our place it was pretty boring until 5ft Worrall leapt like a Salmon and Montano rifled in a superb volley 5 minutes from them.

Obviously this was when we were good also at the back!

Could see an all North Lincolnshire relegation this year, just what this deprived area needs

We should be okay - we’re top of that relegation ‘mini league’ having not lost to any of the teams below us.

Shame that fans probably won’t be in at all this season, it would be great for us to be able to show Evatt our appreciation for him keeping us up on our minuscule budget.

Hopefully next year we can kick on and get a mid-table finish.

Just bringing this thread back up again for a laugh
If you don't get promoted this season it's a catastrophic failure considering how good your squad is meant to be and the size of your club.

4 straight losses, how is this possible? I was repeatedly assured in Masi's 912 posts over the last 9 weeks that this Bolton squad were league demolishing worldbeaters?

I'm very confused.
if your confused your parents will help you

Agree it’s not ideal but we really did shoot ourselves in the foot first half of the season. If we’d started like this we would have been fine. But if we go up no harm done. 10-12 games ago we were 19th I think. So we were dreaming of an outside chance of playoffs. Now we are dreaming of an outside chance of autos

I think we should make it a routine/ritual to visit here and have a brief laugh at 5pm every Saturday :lol::lol:

See you all next Saturday, but in the meantime let's enjoy the time we have with Masi cause he won't be around much longer.
Still here mucker

I guess there may not be any relegation from Lge two this season. However maybe we should just warn our friends from the non-league forum that masi51 will probably be giving it large on that forum next season, now wouldn’t that be :fl:.
lol funny man

Christ did masi51 take over Bolton's twitter feed in a competition?

Evatt has done the opposition managers team talk for them. Print that out, pin it on the wall, job done. 3 points and get the hell out of the shit hole that is Bolton.
Tonight you got out with how many points????????????????

At the end they call us an average maybe even poor side....

we’ve been above Bolton for 15 of the 16 match days this season!

Yeah we’ve had shit form lately but we’re one of the favourites and don’t have a bad squad at all.
not a 16 match season................................

But if they sacked him and got somebody else in it could be in their best interests as the new guy could spend loads of cash in January to turn their season around as they are nowhere near the salary cap as they’ve hardly spent anything so far, Masi said so.
Seems i was proved right.....in January Evatt made 8 signings and turned our season around
listen to me and you will be a wise man

Well yeah, look at how much you've spent on your squad. Hardly worth celebrating.
What do you mean spent?......we are under a Transfer embargo
All the players we signed came from good scouting and were available to other lge 2 clubs

I would imagine Grimsby have a bigger budget than say FGR and Morecambe, but i will agree that we pushed the boat out in January.
Our owners have given Evatt a big vote of confidence
