We will be promoted on Monday if we beat or draw against Newport. OR if Luton lose and we lose. But that'd be a huge anticlimax.

I'm surprised (and pleased, obviously) at how anti-climactic the race for the automatic places has been this season. A few short weeks back it looked like it could possibly go down to the wire for us and maybe for Plymouth too. I suppose that after last year's final day excitement with the incredibly unlucky Accrington missing out in injury time, we were due a more boring one.

However, the play-off race is absolutely wide open and looks a belter. Any four teams from 4th to 14th. And if a team like Grimsby were suddenly to string 4 wins together and sneak into the final place - who's to say they can't still hit the heights like Wimbledon last season?

Over how many games? In the last 10 games, Exeter and Blackpool have accumulated more points. In the last 6 games there's 4 or 5 teams in better form.

I'd back Exeter to win the playoffs, they've been in great form since their slow start to the season.

Over 6 games they are even worse in 12th but swap Stevenage for Colchester.

More likely Accrington will do that, they're unbeaten in 14 games winning 8 and two winnable games coming up
