Well they were doing England a favour. What the fuck was Gulbadin doing bringing himself on when the spinners were bringing it home? Just utterly brainless.

Bent as fuck mate can't be any other reason, he must've been paid off.

We have to win both games, we are better than India and new Zealand, just go and perform you set of c***.

Famous last words but I think England will get the win. If we can qualify winning a couple of do or die games that should stand them in good stead for the knockout stages. Might be blind optimism but we haven’t been the best team in the world for the last four years for nothing.

I’d definitely have Root opening, bring Plunkett in for Ali and move everyone down one. Ali won’t trouble the Indians with the ball either so might aswell sit him out.

As I hoped, thankfully no need to mess with the order though.

Long way to go yet but this is thrilling stuff from England. Kuldeep is just being brutalised by Roy and Bairstow.

Edit - and Roy holes out. Great innings though, damage has been done and set it up great for the rest of the England order.

Stokes is having himself some tournament with the bat. Another brilliant knock here.

Well batted lads, I'd say the decision to drop Ali for Plunkett looks a very good one at this stage and will prove the difference. Their spinners were destroyed.

Good lads Dhoni and Jadhav doing the right thing playing for the red ink in the death overs.

Brilliant win for England. Batting clicked and the bowlers were very smart in how they went about it. Plunkett in for Moeen has definitely worked.

Found our mojo batting wise and Woakes was the key in the bowling stakes.

Is it just me or did it seem India weren’t very bothered?

Great to get the win though regardless

They quite clearly were happy to try and fuck Pakistan over in my opinion at the end.

It was an absolute farce.

Annoying to watch even against England.

They actually still needed one win to get through - guess India will get it v Bangladesh but be funny if they didn't!

India definitely wanted to win that, it's just Ms Dhoni being Ms Dhoni. Indian fans have been complaining about his approach in final stages and killing RR for a few years now. Absolutely bizarre that he had a go once it was already lost though.

Baffling that he was leaving hiitable deliveries and refusing to run a few singles. Buttler, AbdV, Maxwell and co. would have been trying to slog every ball for a boundary and rightly so, but then I don't think they really care about the * at the end of their innings.

Who have been most disappointing - West Indies or South Africa?

Both tipped to reach the top 4 as dark horses but got no-where near.

I'd say south Africa are a much better side than the windies. Gayle completely carried them on his own in our recent series, he has been shite at this world cup and so have they, lost every game since they destroyed Pakistan in game 1.

So south Africa

Definitely South Africa for me. Granted they were hampered by losing a great bowler like Steyn early on which would be a huge blow to any team. That said their batting has been abysmal, Amla is now past his prime and not having ABdV in that middle order any more to carry them they have looked confused.

The Windies were always a team who could give you a bloody nose on any given day but never likely to challenge.

305-8 in the end. Kinda like India in that it feels disappointing given how well we started but still feels like a good score given how much the pitch seemed to stick at the end.

Plunkett will get wickets on here mark my words

NZ will have to worry about their NRR at this rate, they're not qualified themselves yet...
