Stockport County.
Blackburn away is a good draw. Big allocation behind that goal.

Am I making it up or do Newport have a habit of picking up really good draws?

Assuming Man Utd win that is.

Blackburn is decent for Wrexham, but very tough to win if they play a strong side.

Yeah, buzzing with it. Easy to get to and not impossible to get a result there either. They'll probably give us 7000 tickets or so and we'll sell most.

Home to Leeds, Tottenham, Leicester, Man C and Brighton in recent years, plus home ties with West Ham, Southampton, Newcastle and Brentford in League Cup. Just the ‘small’ matter of beating Eastleigh now to add Man U to the collection!

Good that you put small in inverted commas. Eastleigh do constantly well in the National League so no guarantee that you will. Enjoy your payday if you do.

Yep! all that money we made from those ties yet here we are skint, makes you wonder if our BoD were employed by the post office.

Our game has been moved to the Monday night and it's going as well as you'd expect.

Wank. I'll still be there but will be driving now and not making a day of it.

It comes with supporters? Where do you buy them?
All the plastics in and around Newport who will be able to watch their beloved Manchester United. The closest they get to Old Trafford is the Coldra Roundabout or their local Weatherspoons......They will be over Rodney Parade at the crack of dawn on Monday buying their tickets after Season Ticket Holders and Trust Members get their Priority time to purchase their tickets....I wonder how many fans who turn up to watch us week in week out will miss out because the ' glory hunters ' and 'Touts' will snap up the tickets first
I was working 12 hour shifts when we played Man City and couldn't get tickets for that game because they we sold out as they weren't available to buy online and you had to go to RP to buy them. I watched 22 out of the 23 home games and 15 of our away games that season . It really peed me off when guys in work who had never seen a Newport game previously we bragging they had tickets...And they haven't been back since...until this game probably....
Don't forget ALL the Local Councillors who will suddenly swear their undying love for their local side just so they can get their 'FREEBIES'.

Funny how Newport have tried every single trick in the book to get it sold out for us as well, and now you got a temp stand to accomodate an extra 1000. But you defo not coming because of Wrexham and the Hollywood links.

If you went to 22 out of 23 home games that season, why didn't you buy a season ticket and guarantee yourself a ticket to the City game?

It doesn't say, but i suspect he had a ST. The issue appears that the cup tickets were not online and the poster couldn't physically get to the ground to buy his/hers. Which does sound archaic from Newport's perspective.

No idea when that game was mind, could have been 1996 for all I know.

Ah right, yeah that is absolutely mental.

The game wasn't long ago.

Weirdly enough, Newport are the only team to provide our supporters with digital tickets for the away end this season.

Gillingham do it.

I don’t understand why most clubs only provide e-tickets for the home fans, Mansfield being one of them.

I think we do e-tickets for away fans unless it's one of the big followings who want to sell them themselves to give priority etc. as presumably the system isn't sophisticated enough to do that.

Think ours have basically been that split for aways - e-tickets when sold through the home club, paper tickets when limited allocations sold through Notts.

I've just seen the Bournemouth score from last night, and noticed it was 5-0 at half time. Does Williams think he can just play the same way no matter the opposition? He won't last long there if he keeps that up.

He's a massive fraud - one bog standard tactic....don't defend at all costs.

Swansea looked like all the bad things about a Notts side but without the good. Couldn't defend, constantly caught out with runners breaking the high line and trying to pass it out the back but just continually giving it away.

Manyoo putting out the first team here (minus anyone who's hungover). Nearly as big a gulf in quality as our trip to Doncaster
