Certainly makes that result at the County Ground in the previous round a tad less embarrassing.
Not for me. 7 seasons down the NL in recent seasons and not once did a tinpotter get close to hitting 7 goals past us at Blundell Park. Swindon need to do the honourable thing, hang their heads in shame and get their willy out and do a lap of the table.

If course it was said very much tongue in cheek.

And I hear it's the poorest and weakest Non League / Conference/ National League ever!!!!!!

Most bizarre result yesterday was Aldershot's 3-5 defeat.
They were team who shunted two top teams (Swindon & Stockport) out of competition.
I think they were losing 0-5 at one time before away team had a player sent off.

They beat Swindon, not Notts County?

Also, they were the home team?

Other than that, you're spot on.

Obviously Aldershot are not one of teams I keep an eye on.
Post amended. Thanks.

I think you've been confused by attempted humour/banter. Your original post was (kind of) accurate.

No it wasn't?

They knocked you out, not Notts County.

Also, they were at home to Eastleigh, not away, so again, that was also incorrect. Not to mention, Aldershot had already scored twice before the red anyway.

Wasn't really that hard to comprehend.

It clearly was after a ton of Sunday boozing! :)

Currently 1 down at Blackpool, actually played pretty well (ish) but gave away a very poor goal first half. Still in this though.

3-0 down now, we've played ok by our standards. Managed a couple of shots on target. Good to see Reece Brown back.

Seven of our teams left in competition with three home matches and four away.

All except Newport are playing teams in higher league, so possibly / probably they will be our only winners.
And of course Newport had the good fortune to have been first out of bag in every tie so far this season - all against non-league teams.

Plymouth have a tough double header at both Sutton and Wrexham...

We are playing Shrewsbury.

My hope is that Ipswich field a weakened team as they're probably prioritising promotion to the Prem. We'll see.

Still a bloody hard game to win against opponents in higher division.
But good luck to your team.

Southampton unbeaten in 18 unless they rest a fair few they should give us a hiding only consolation may be that we have finally hit some form so this has come at the right time.

The result I expected but we played well. The main for me was going to be the performance (I wasn’t overly optimistic about getting a win) and across the park the team gave a good account of themselves.

Unchanged from the Barrow game. I'll take any result as long as nobody gets injured. Can't see us winning there but might nick a draw

Like being back in Non League this, Shrewsbury don't have a player under 6 foot 4. Biggest team I have ever seen us play and a style of play that would embarrass Big Sam.

Not sure how Mullin got away with going through a Shrewsbury defender and studding the Wrexham keeper in the arm
