I've just found this thread and I don't know whether I'm more amazed that this flat earth society exists, or that the people of this forum have managed to have a 7 page discussion about this.

tbf the flight paths section 15- 20 mins shown in that video confirm a flat earth without a shadow of doubt.

what religion argument? the one that gives more factual evidence on the earth than the Freemasons ever will.........all those sundials etc in the video give unbelievable accurate readings that NASA could only dream of.

How does the flat earth delusion explain 24hour sunlight and 24hour darkness at the same time but in different poles? I mean that only seems logical from a spherical point of view.

LOL delusional? You are again falling in the trap of asking questions that relate to a ' globe earth' or spherical earth which has 2 poles.............a flat earth has one pole the north pole, the centre , and an outer rim the antarctic as pictured in the avatar to the left.

Now talking of bullshit can you yourself ( as silky cannot ) tell me why no-one in history has circumnavigated the earth from top to bottom or north to south as you call it.............many mariners / explorers have tried this route yet recorded distances and time taken exactly that of a flat earth and were discredited by NASA hundreds of years later LOL

So how can the center have 24hour light whilst all outer edges have 24hour darkness and the converse...how can the very center have 24hour darkness but the outer edges have 24hour light? I mean unless there were multiple suns, and there your honour we have no possible explanation.

And I have not the knowledge nor the willingness to even attempt researching your question, I will if you actually answer my question above without dodging its point again though. Talking of North-South though, how do compasses work in a flat earth hypothesis?

There isn't a way to travel around the globe north and south. At best you could go down through Africa and leap off for the south poll from there, then get there, turn around about 45 degrees and head back up through South America.

But people have gone 'pole to pole' and there are regularly scheduled flights that cross over Antarctica.

We've done this one before. There are flights from Australia to South America that pass over Antactica. Quantas fly from Sydney to Santiago non stop. On the flat earth, that would be basically the longest possible flights between two locations. If they were committed to the lie, they'd have to follow the published flight path which doesn't travel down the west coast of the USA, and flown the full distance around the Antarctic ice wall. That's something like 30,000 miles. In 12 hours that would take the fastest plane ever made.

Even if the sun rotated around the edge of the flat earth, in the UK, at midnight, it would never drop below 14 degrees above the horizon. Nowhere on the planet would experience true night. And the highest points in any region. Or anywhere higher than the local landscape to the 'south' would be in permanent daylight.

Exactly. So don't people on that flight wonder why, instead of flying over frozen wastes, as they would expect, they are going north, and down the west coast? Even the flat earth route is far further than the plane with the longest range in the world can handle.

Obviously your getting mixed up by thinking the sun is as big and as far away as NASA says so in globe earth world. The angle Sun rays hit the earth also proves the sun is not as big or as far away as NASA says Silky.
