I've just arrived in Liege, going to the circuit tomorrow and Sunday. Roaming tomorrow, Pouhon on Sunday. The Hamilton penalty is a bit of a bugger as we were hoping for a win but should be exciting seeing him come through the field. A podium is definitely on.

I sat at Pouhon once when Schumacher won from 16th so anything is possible..... :-)

Excellent result for Hamilton - and another eventful race at Spa!

Force India the most improved team this year?

Great result for Hamilton but it was a shame that all Rosberg's challengers managed to destroy their races at turn 1! Tons of Dutch at Spa yesterday, would have been nice seeing Verstappen have a better day but ho hum. Bloody hot on Saturday - haven't experienced heat like that at a motor race before. Superb weekend all in all.

Cracking result for Hamilton, you could clearly see Rosberg was thrown after getting out of the car like he was thinking how the fuck is he on he podium. Hamilton looks good for the title now but you never know what could happen.

Massa retiring at the end of the season.

Good career but played second fiddle at Ferrari for a long time and then dramatically lost his chance to win the title in 08 on the final corner.

Likable driver, a decent one as well but as you say played second fiddle most of his career. 2008 was his only real top class year and then the year after he suffered that brutal injury, wasn't the same driver after that imo.

After last week a bit of a let down for Hamilton.

Ferrari will be pleased to beat the Red Bulls in front of their home fans..

Not the greatest race I've seen. Race was over after the first few laps. Nice to see Jenson having a bit of fun towards the end, Ricciardo's overtake was another highlight.

The start killed off Lewis, really good for the championship though and we could see a real fight for the title.

Think I heard Rosberg has gained all his wins without overtaking another car, if you exclude the start of a race. He's a very average driver who only wins when something goes wrong for Lewis.

Most boring race of the year so far, not sure how Monza has managed to be signed for another 3 years but there you go.

Race was over before the first corner, highlight of the race was Alonso laughing at his engineer.

Going to the wire this one. Can't help but feel Merc have let Hamilton down again with the hydraulic issue in P2, really cost him in qualifying. Hamilton will come back hopefully.

Well done to the Red Bulls but very annoying for Lewis - a rare engine blow out when in front.

Can see young Max causing a few incidents with his aggressive driving (not a bad thing I guess..)

Ferrari having a shocker generally.

McLaren certainly aren't atm.

Rosberg will surely go down as one of the most undeserved world champions ever.

Funny how the problems are on Lewis' car yet Rosberg has had fuck all.

One of those things. Title has been a bit like 1987 or 1989 where Mansell and Senna respectively had a stupid number of mechanical issues when leading races which cost them the title. It's annoying but a part of racing which does exist albeit more infrequently these days.

But yeah, Rosberg will be as undeserving as Piquet and Prost were in the two aforementioned seasons.

Yeah, congrats to Nico, I suppose it would have been a shame for him to not win a championship in this car, but he certainly wouldn't have won it in a straight fight.

So disappointed when that engine blew, Lewis has been so dominant all weekend as well.

Hamilton not really helping himself in terms of a relationship with the team - is that just a sign of his frustration/maybe wanting to get out?

Never over yet, not with 25 points for a win. It's like being 4 points behind with 4 games left in football.

Lewis can feel rightly pissed off as he's basically had this title taken away from him due to mechanical issues. I fully accept that he didn't get the start right yesterday but that's not what has put him 33 points down, it was the big points swing from the engine failure in Malaysia that did it.

Sorry but its over, Hamilton pretty much needs to win every race and still rely on Rosberg having a poor race or DNF. Nothing like being 4 behind with 4 to play.

See 2007 world championship for evidence of why it's not over.

Hear what you're saying but one iffy race from Rosberg, one mechanical issue even in qualifying, one wet race which Rosberg can't cope with..... I've been watching F1 long enough to know this isn't over.

Did what he had to do, had Verstappen have not caused the VSC it could have been 3rd for Rosberg. Could feel very reminiscent of 2008 but with roles reversed, Hamilton in the Massa role.

Problem is unless there are any reliability issues or weather issues, the Merc's are pretty much guaranteed to finish 1st and 2nd every race, so even if Hamilton did the unlikely and win the final 4 races, he still needs something out of the ordinary to happen to Rosberg. Hamilton is always strong in the US, so the win for him was expected, and the VSC just meant Rosberg didn't have to overtake Ric on track as he was likely to catch him in the last stint anyhow.

Rosberg can still finish 3rd in one of the races as well.

Have to say Vettel acting like knob was funny. As for the title it's going to take a Rosberg dnf, maybe in a rainy Brazil.
