I get my first wage this Friday. Might just buy lots of horror stuff.
I'd say they're both as bad as each other. Honestly, I never really laugh at horror films but the acting of James Ransone in this was so so bad. I can honestly say that I didn't jump once. Even the jump scares were poorly done and completely obvious. The only purpose the film served was to give more details on the mythology. Nothing else advanced at all. Annabelle at least had a couple of tense scenes, especially the one in the basement where the elevator won't go up.
Oh dear, I'll probably give it a go just because I've seen the first one. I'd imagine all the best scares were in the trailer?
